Welcome! Located only 5 minutes from I-5, and 1.7 miles from the state capitol building, this accommodation is quiet, cozy, only blocks from walking and biking trails, and public transportation. Equipped with a comfortable, full-size futon, it is appropriate for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I have two goats and a cat who is a wonderful greeter. The goats and I are sometimes available for walks, so please inquire if this interests you. (Yes, I walk my goats).
“Staying with Stephanie was truly wonderful! The studio unit we stayed in was very clean, stylish, and COVID-19 safe. There were fresh towels and linens, free coffee and snacks, and a very comfy bed. There was also a huge shower! Her goats and cat are so sweet and we had a lovely socially distant goat walk, which we loved. We would recommend Stephanie's home for anyone who is traveling through or visiting the Olympia area. Thank you Stephanie!”

“This was our first time booking an airbnb and We were absolutely impressed! After this stay we will no longer be booking hotel rooms and will stick with airbnb. We stayed at Hood Canal Resort for our anniversary. Even though there was another house next door, everything seemed to be designed with privacy in mind (balcony areas, window drapes, Jacuzzi area etc.). Note: This house does share the dock with the house next door, but that did not bother us. We still felt like we had plenty of privacy and we will defiantly be back!! Furthermore, the house was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped, the host was quick to respond if we had any questions, the resort had incredible views (my husband and I saw many sea lions during our stay, incredible sunset, woke up to see a great blue haron on the dock, and we were even lucky enough to spot a couple of whales playing in the distance!!!!).”
The house is at the end of a long driveway in a gorgeous private wooded setting on the Westside. In the winter you'll have a peek-a-boo view of Budd Bay Inlet. It's close to downtown, the Capitol, the food co-op, Evergreen State College, public transport, shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Everything you need is within a mile or less, yet the house is secluded, quiet and surrounded by woods. You'll feel like you're out in the country, but with everything you need nearby.
“Wonderful location! It feels like a solitary getaway in the woods (relaxing and serene), but it is RIGHT next to Capitol Lake and downtown! Super accessible! Next to the bus line but also walk-able from downtown. Definitely a kind and friendly host! So many fun little touches (does her own artwork, provides stamped postcards, morning tea and coffee, a collective world map of where AirBnB-ers are from around the world, adorable feline friends). Endless supply of ice and water for warm summer months! Thank you so much!!”
