Private Suite for your relaxing Peninsula escape

AnandRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a wonderful stay here. The property is truly a hidden gem, with a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing in the mornings or winding down in the evenings. The view from the house is absolutely stunning—whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the scenery is peaceful and picturesque. Jill was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They were always available for questions and gave great local tips as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with family, this Airbnb offers comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality. Don’t miss the chance to stay here—you’ll leave refreshed and inspired.

Sunny Stylish Spectacular views

DanielleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
After so many stays in this lovely place, it feels like a home away from home at this point. Everything is wonderful and pristine and comfortable and the views are beautiful - particularly the sunsets. The beds are perfect and the showers have great pressure. I highly recommend this lovely home to anyone visiting Dunedin. Thanks again, Tracey.

Ever stayed in an award winning glasshouse?

BethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
During our full-time travels we tend to seek out lodging that is unique, and the old converted Sunday school hall/now glasshouse was just that! Tessa is an exceptional host. We spent a wonderful evening with her learning about the transformation of this beautiful space. Furnishings are stylish and very comfortable. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-10 minute drive to the St. Clair beach area, downtown Dunedin or the start of the scenic Otago Peninsula drive.

Hilltop guest room: Escape the city!

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I can’t recommend this place enough. A cosy little hideaway with beautiful views right atop the peninsula it’s a great base to visit the city and appreciate nature. It has everything you’d need and feels so homely. We really enjoyed doing the Triple Combo experience to see the albatross, boat trip in the bay, and see the penguins with OPERA. We also had a wonderful day exploring Dunedin seeking out the street art. Angus is the perfect host. I can’t express this enough. Utterly helpful in every way with useful tips and insights about the area that he very generously shared with us. Thank you, Angus, we have really enjoyed resting up in this wonderful bolt hole and chatting with you. It will remain a highlight of our travels.

Beautiful views, style and comfort

TimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a funeral to attend and it's associated social events. We were able to arrive way later than expected due top Air NZ's efforts to cope with the weather disrupting intended flights. A phone call to Richelle, who was out of the area at the time, kept her informed of our changed plans and she arranged for the cottage to be dusted above and beyond the norm as my wife suffers from dust and smell allergies, and the heating and lights were on so that when we did arrive it was totally welcoming and supportive. My wife did fine the smell of the diffuser to much but that was easily remedied. I found poerating the key lock box a little difficult and, sadly left it with the outside cover dangling from one corner. My apologies. I was unable to relock the front door key in its box but left it on the internal hook. Again, apologies and I hope you found it ok. We loved staying there and will recommend it to anyone of our friends or family intending to visit the area. Thank you, Richelle and Tea

The Bothy @ Hooper's Lodge on the Otago Peninsula

Papa ChangRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A cabin on top of a hill that feels very homie, with an absolutely stunning view. The host, Fiona, is very friendly and offers warm hospitality—truly caring and attentive. In the morning, you can join Fiona as she feeds her two horses Billie and Caddy, while playing with Maximus the white cat, and her two dogs, Banjo and Coco. Thank you, Super Host Fiona!
