Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schuylkill County

This was one of the most beautiful air b&b’s I’ve ever stayed at. The pond was stunning and the land was very private. Melissa was a great host- She was very friendly and responsive to messages. The house was clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you could need! Again it was a BEAUTIFUL house and land. We had the pleasure of seeing two bald eagles on the property too, very magical. 💖🦅🍃 We had an amazing time and are already planning our trip to come back next year!

I've lost count now how many times we've stayed here and we always have a great time. The house is so pretty and full of character and the porch is so great to hang out on at the end of the day. We love it!

Overall we had a very nice time! The view is beautiful. Everything was clean. It was a cool, old house. The kitchen was well stocked and my son loved the movie theater room. The only thing I feel like that should be noted (not a complaint, just a note) that was not, is the stairs are VERY steep and the hallway upstairs is very small. So that could be a concern for families with small children or older people.

KinderHawk Schoolhouse was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place to unwind from our busy lives. This place delivered. The schoolhouse itself is quaint and charming. It has everything and more. The welcome basket was very appreciated. The surroundings are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the farm animals at the farm across the street and bird watching. We enjoyed the outside fire pit and also the indoor fireplace on the cool evenings. We hiked Hawk mountain which is 2 miles up the road. It has spectacular views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. I wish we stayed longer. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Naomi’s house was better than what the pictures offered! Its is a beautiful home that can have everything you’re looking for, in its own private area. It was the perfect home for us for a short weekend stay, offering many amenities as well as recommendations. We would definitely stay here again, especially if we want to escape the town after a long day of off roading! I would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect—clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful area. There was a great place to eat nearby, Woody’s, and we loved being so close to Knoebels amusement park. Both places were recommended by the host and truly made our trip. Highly recommend this spot!

Large room, clean and comfortable. Easy parking and the general store next door is nice. It's on the third floor but the AC kept it nice and cool even in 90 degree weather. I would stay again.

This was a convenient location for our visit to Knoebel's Amusement Park, as all other closer places were filled or beyond our budget. It was in a very quiet neighborhood, with sidewalks and not too much more to do - but that was fine given our short stay and purpose for being in that area. The rooms were neat, clean and tidy, and kitchen appliances and provided plates and cooking utensils were up to par. The bed was medium firm foam and provided sufficient support..we slept fine. The only negative was that the bedroom shade was not the room darkening kind and as the window faces east it got bright real early. Other than that minor inconvenience I would stay there again...thanks, Joe!

Great stay! My family and I were very grateful for all of the thoughtful drinks, snacks, and comfortable stay after an exhausting day at Hershey Park. We arrived late and (without asking) were told that there was no one checking in right after us, so we could take our time leaving. This was very much appreciated!! House was extremely clean and cozy.

We had the pleasure to spend two weeks in this lovely apartment while visiting family and friends . Diane and Hiester were the perfect hosts , always there to answer any questions we had . The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed ! The outside property is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful ! Will definitely stay here again when we're back in town !!!

The place was great. Easy to get into. Parking right in front of the house. Very quiet and had all the necessary things for a visit. Very walkable to downtown Pottsville and steps from original Yuengling Mansion. Overall - quite a pleasure.

Great hideaway in Mt Carmel close to Koebel's and right down the block from a grocery store. The apartment is above a residential garage but there wasn't any noise to speak of from that. AC is provided via three window units, they are a little loud but definitely got the job done on cooling the place down. Keith left Middlesworth chips on the counter along with my favorite thing, a club sandwich...not like with bacon and all but a chocolate club sandwich. If your from the region you know. The apartment is accessed through outdoor walkup stairs, might be a challenge for some but it was fine for us even with young children. Everything inside was clean and neat. Cool decor very coal mining centric. Thanks Keith for a great stay.
