Use the fully set up desk and lightning-fast fiber internet! Just 5 minutes to Sandpoint, 15 minutes to Schweitzer Shuttle Parking, and 30 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain Village. Dover Bay boasts miles of trails through nature preserves, parks and playgrounds, community beach, boat launch, and DISH restaurant.

The Cabin on the Lake

Located on Lake Pend Oreille, this is a tiny cabin with double bed, electric heater, coffee maker. However, if you are looking for a meticulous, hotel-like experience, this may not be the venue for you. It is upscale camping surrounded by nature: bugs, critters, scat, neighborhood dogs. The detached bathroom has a composting toilet, and outdoor, solar shower. With BBQ, picnic table and deck, we are primarily for hardy couples, who appreciate a beautiful but rustic setting, with water access.

Welcome to our Cozy Cabin Retreat just 19 minutes north of Sandpoint. 4 acres of mature cedar trees and the crystal clear pack river. Perfect for couples or large groups, our property features an additional dry lodging cabin you can add to your booking based on your party’s needs. We don’t double book, so when you book, the whole property is yours to enjoy! The river is a great for swimming in July/August. Before this date, it’s too deep. An artist studio conversion replete with stained-glass windows from a local church, Chapel by the Pier, as its name suggests, is down the street from Third Street Pier, a South Sandpoint swimming hole and kayak launch. It's also within walking distance to downtown Sandpoint, making it ideal for strolling (or riding one of the two provided bicycles) to restaurants, bars and boutiques. You won't find another spot as central or with as much character. Plus, furnishings and appliances are new!
