Louise’s place was everything I could ask for. It had all the things I needed in the room. It was a very comfortable stay even though I had a shared bathroom. The location was also near town and I could easily take the bus to the city. She’s also very accommodating and responsive. She gave me extra blankets and a yoga mat to borrow when I requested for one. More than just the friendly welcome, the house was also very beautiful. I adored the decoration and the books so much. It was an affordable stay and could not have asked for a better stay and host!

At Kramat, you get what you expect. Communication is friendly and clear. Kramat is friendly and helpful, he has his stay well organized.

Excellent stay at Louise's. The latter informed us perfectly to access the accommodation. For the accommodation, the room was very clean, the beds comfortable. The room is equipped with a small fridge, dishes and a microwave, which was very useful to us. The accommodation is well located about 20 minutes by bus, there are several buses that serve the accommodation. A big thank you to Louise for her hospitality and availability. I can only recommend staying with her.

I had a great stay at Lucy’s place in Edinburgh! The apartment was very nice, clean, and comfortable—exactly as described. Lucy provided clear instructions, which made check-in and getting settled super easy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great place to enjoy Scotland from. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but carry outs are popular and plenty of groceries. I like all the green spaces especially.

Between 8-12 June, my wife and I were in Edinburgh and stayed at Luyc's house. Everything was exactly as advertised, maybe even better :) Luyc responded to our questions immediately, was very interested and helpful. The house was very close to the city center on foot, the location was great. We were very pleased, if we come again we would like to stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!☺️

I stayed here for 3 weeks to look for my long-term accommodation. I could check in easily, following the instructions from the host. The room and other spaces were arranged and cleaned up well. The location was also great; I could go anywhere on many buses. I couldn't find the hot blanket by myself, but the host kindly showed it and made it usable. He always responded as soon as I asked, and kindly and flexibly accepted my requests. I highly recommend staying here.

Yasmin and Mo were truly lovely hosts and their guesthouse is immaculate, comfortable, and quiet, even though my room faced a busy main road. Multiple bus lines right outside can get you to the Mile, the Uni (Bristow and King's), and really all other Edinburgh sites with ease. They made me feel like family and I would gladly stay again, and highly recommend Mayfield Suites!

I was initially nerovus because this was my first time staying in a shared accommodation, but it was great! The place was comfortable, clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. Marina gave me a very thorough overview of things to do an see in Edinburgh which was great. I also was working remotely during my time and the wifi worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers who are willing to walk 15-20 min to the heart of the city!

I had a wonderful stay here in Edinburgh in May. The room was clean, and comfortable. The host's communication was excellent, and everyone was friendly. Quiet location, within walking distance of city center. I would certainly stay here again on a future trip.

incredible hospitality and work definitely stay again

I enjoyed my stay at Marina’s a lot. She’s a really kind and sweet host and I felt comfortable and safe staying there. You can walk everywhere or take the bus if you don’t want to walk/are too tired to walk. The bus stop is right in front of the house. I can recommend walking and following Marina’s recommendations though, since you’ll be able to appreciate the city more that way imo! It’s a lovely city. I could tell how much she loves Edinburgh and also how much she cares about her guests. I can highly recommend Marina’s place — should I go back to Edinburgh I’d love to stay there again. 😊
