House holiday rentals in Scotts Valley

This spacious home was absolutely beautiful for our stay! We especially appreciated the amenities that the home provided. Specifically, the pool and vast dining spaces were a perfect match for our large family. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, central to the attractions we wanted to see including downtown San Fransisco and the Winchester house. The homeowner was great with communication throughout the booking and check in/out process. Overall, we had a lovely stay in this gorgeous home.

Place is exactly as described. Glad we asked about the heated pool and got it heated during our stay. June was still chilly at night and would have made the pool too cold to swim in for mots of the day without heating. Place was clean and exactly as described.

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

The house was great for our family stay. Lots of space, all on one level, and beautiful outdoor space. We travelled with our kids and they had a great time in the pool :) Note there is extra cost if you want the pool to be heated. Thanks for a great stay!

It was beautiful, private, and a hidden gem! We had lots of fun and enjoyed all the views throughout the house. The house is even better than the pictures. We had our 2 boys, had plenty to do between the beach, books, basketball, spa, ping pong, and games! We definitely recommend and would go back! Not to mention I love artichokes and this house is located in artichoke city!! So amazing!! 10/10 you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful property with stunning pool and nearby hikes. Comfortable bed and amenities in peaceful and quiet surroundings. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks for such a wonderful stay! Would love to return again for future trips in the area!

We had such a nice time at sue’s and laurels place felt so comfortable and we felt like we were at home!! The house is very well stocked and didn’t feel empty like so many other rentals. Highly highly recommend! Our dog absolutely loved the back yard and had so much fun running around. This is such an amazing house for dogs. One thing to note is if you have an escape artist dog (like we do) the back gate is a bit shorter. We had no issues at all it’s just something to keep an eye out for!

We had the most amazing stay with our newborn & dog. Walkable to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach, and a short drive to the cliff walks. We loved being able to put the baby down to sleep in the dark bedroom & eat dinner in the peaceful backyard. Plus, the fenced yard made it easy to let our dog out to go potty (it’s the little things!). We are eager to stay here again!

As mentioned by others, the place is super comfortable, has a lot of amenities and is super close to the boardwalk and the downtown area. However, what really stood out to us was the host’s hospitality. They were super accommodating when we mentioned we’d be getting to Santa Cruz a little early and if we could use the bikes to go cruise around in the meantime. We only stayed for one night, but were able to enjoy a full day of fun because of that. We rode to Brommer park, played pickleball, went back to check in, headed out to eat, walked around and then went back to enjoy the spa and ping pong table. The whole house was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Definitely recommend David’s place.

I’ve stayed at many places. I can honestly say this home was one of my favorites. Absolutely everything you want and need PLUS MORE. The hammock outside was just what we needed after a long day at the beach. Everything was basically spotless. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach house to stay at, I can’t recommend this one enough. 10/10. I would definitely come back.

Location was perfect for walking to the beach and the pier. The river walk to downtown restaurants was close by too. Once we parked our car we never used till it was time to leave. This was great because parking is difficult being so close to the beach. This place is very private and felt safe.

Jenny’s place is a tranquil hideaway with gorgeous views. Why pay crazy hotel prices in concrete-covered Santa Cruz when you can basically stay in the woods? We were able to get into the city in less than 15 minutes. The place has great air conditioning and a delightful patio with fountain.

We loved our stay! The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes from a beautiful redwoods park and a short drive to the coast. This part of California is tucked away from the busy crowds of the Bay Area and feels remote. The Loma Mar outpost offers basic provisions and a restaurant a few minutes from the house, and Pescadero has a strip of shops and restaurants about ten minutes away. The house is lovely and comfortable, very peaceful.

The house was perfect for our family to stay at during my son’s wedding in Felton! The place is nice, clean, beautiful surroundings! If you’re staying during the summer, be aware of the noise from the camp below. We knew about it and it didn’t bother us - but if you want a quiet, relaxing place, you might want to look elsewhere. This was just the perfect location for our venue and other family members! Rebekah was a great communicator too, which I find most important at Airbnbs. We’d definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! It was clean, well furnished, in a private location and the host provided clear instructions. We loved the spacious living for the kids and the big kitchen. We highly recommend and would stay again!

Felt like a gem in the mountains. The modern amenities made it very comfortable. The host was very prompt with their responses and easy to communicate with. I felt so at home in this little cottage. I'm ready for my next visit.

A group of us were in town for a wedding and Jeff’s place was absolutely lovely. The room in the shed in the back, which we affectionately referred to as the “rave cave” was very cool with the LED lighting. The grill was perfect for our Friday night bbq dinner and we loved having an option for an outdoor shower!

We were amazed at how peaceful and retreat-like Chris's place was... the full panel of windows looking out onto magnificent redwoods (pretty sure) was a delight. The neighborhood was quiet, super easy to park in front, easy access with coded entry. Fancy shower with 3 choices (rain, hand held etc), controls for temp in each room so me and my hubby could at times be at our very different temp preferences. My husband's favorite part was going out on the deck with his morning coffee, facing a forested canyon, and having time to write and think. One other important note... although we felt "away and peaceful", we were MUCH closer to everything than we thought. Just 10 min to beach, 15 to downtown or UCSC campus, and 20-25 to Henry Cowell State Redwoods. It is an ideal location, and a really great price, considering you would pay the same for a nicer hotel, without the lovely view, private deck, kitchen, etc. We will be back! ps, Chris was very responsive to my questions too!
