We had a wonderful stay! The house is fantastically located in a beautiful and peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. We did a great day trip to the Vestkapp, which was absolutely worth it. Lina was very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful house, it is well described in the listing. The garden is beautiful with sea views. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and enjoyed the☀️. The island exudes tranquility, it is wonderful for walking and cycling. We are super excited about this great (quiet) location with fantastic views 😍🥰

We had a great stay at Arne's. The house is very large, as well as the garden around it - we spent many hours in the sun out there. Arne communicated very well and stopped by for a chat, he gave us many tips and was very nice. Will be happy to come back.

wonderful place , practically on the beach (priceless morning walk with coffee). spacious home well-equipped. accessibility to shops and civilization was also important to us. great communication with the bedding. we had a great time, rested, and explored the area . i recommend

The location and setting were amazing and the place was perfect. What made the stay extra special was Lidun and the time and care she took to make sure we knew where to go and had stuff to do. She helped us plan two amazing days within 1-2 hours of where she lived and we got to see so much of the area which is truly amazing. Even with mediocre weather we had a fabulous stay. We hope to be back here!!

Beautiful, peaceful setting with a wonderful view of the fjord through the picture windows. Spacious and plenty of room. So nice to have an entire house to ourselves. Very useable kitchen with a good size table. Comfortble beds. Very responsive host. So far, our favorite stay in Norway. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful house in Ervik. The location is truly exceptional – directly on a quiet bay, surrounded by mountains, with the sea right in front of you. We hardly saw another person during our stay – the solitude and silence were simply priceless. The landscape is breathtaking, and the house itself is cozy, warm, and full of charm. We felt very much at home from the first moment. Everything was well-prepared and perfectly maintained. One of the highlights was the seaside sauna, which can be booked separately. It was a fantastic experience – everything worked smoothly and the setting couldn’t be more perfect. If you're looking for peace, nature, and a place to truly unwind, this is it. Highly recommended.

Cozy wooden hut with fantastic views from the large terrace! No direct access to the sea, beautiful beach about 5 minutes' drive away. You have to clean the cottage yourself on departure, so a longer stay is worthwhile. Very good value for money. We felt very comfortable.

Our stay on the island of Barmen was simply fantastic. The location is hard to put into words - absolutely quiet, peaceful and surrounded by breathtaking nature. If you're looking for relaxation, this is the place to be. No street noise, no hustle and bustle, just the view of the fjord. The house is lovingly furnished, well equipped and exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere. A big thank you to Karl, our host. From the first contact to departure, he was attentive, helpful and warm. He gave us many great tips and made sure that we could feel completely comfortable. We can recommend this place without reservation

For my son’s 21st birthday he wanted to surf at Hoddevik and we live in San Francisco. We had discovered that Hoddevik was a 7-8 hr drive from Bergen and that it might be raining and there might not be waves so I was hesitant to book a stay and thought we might just as well go to Bergen and be normal tourists. However after a few days in Bergen I could see my son needed to see the actual ocean so I rented the car and found Elizabeth’s place! She was the very best host - so responsive and encouraging while we drove the 8 hours and arrived in the dark . Once we found the place it was so easy to go in a get some good sleep in the warm house with comfortable beds . Woke up to the most breathtaking views and sounds of nature. There was a market nearby and after breakfast we drove to Hoddevik for the vacation of a lifetime. Absolutely our best vacation to date. Elisabeth really made our visit a most delightful experience. Thank you Elizabeth! We can’t wait to come back and stay longer

My son Alex was the actual guest and here is his commentary on his stay (since Airbnb doesn’t allow him to write a comment himself). Spoiler alert : it was a very good experience ! From Alex and Marilou « Our sincere thanks to Venise & Gaby for their warm welcome to this comfortable, carefully decorated tiny house, full of personality. 
The view over the fjord completes the magic already offered by the cabin. Moreover, we were able to enjoy the surrounding mountains and snow-covered forest during a wonderful walk. And Gaby offered to take us by car, giving us all the advice we needed. This is just one example of the many times they were there to help us make the most enjoyable experience possible. As an added bonus, we were able to taste their homemade beer, served with small snacks. It was perfect for a little Halloween movie night after the sauna !

Me and her family had a great and hassle-free weekend at Sara and Kim's house. Perfect with walking distance to the church, as guests for weddings. The place and the hosts are highly recommended 😊

We had a great stay at Stian's house. The location right on the sea is great! The clean expansive beach offers plenty of space for swimming and walking. The house is spacious and you have a wonderful view of the sea from all the rooms, as well as from the terraces. It is stylish and very cozy furnished and it lacks nothing. Fabulous!

The place is really worth recommending! A home designed and made with great craftsmanship. Natural materials in the interior beautifully refer to the views outside the windows. The amenities are also very tasteful. We were with a friendly family, and we had a special time together. Each of us mentions this trip as the best of life. Outside the house itself the neighborhood is beautiful. Throughout our stay, we explored new places every day. Beautiful country, rich in amazing landscapes that take your breath away. We are thinking of staying again. The beds were very comfortable, sheets like the best hotels. A comfortable table (we were very comfortable for 8 people)and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked delicious dishes every day while admiring the view of the mountains outside the windows. Amazing experience. Well-equipped gym, beautiful rooms to relax. It was much better than we expected! The contact with Ove was very good, he is a very kind and helpful host. It tells you the best places to see. Nothing to complain about!

Great place with a short distance to the sights. Very nicely decorated house with modern furniture and facilities. Everything you need for cooking is available. A big plus for modern bathrooms and good beds.

We had a great vacation in a picturesque setting. The house has a great view of the fjord and is far enough away from water and road so that even small children can play peacefully. There are 3 floors and two bathrooms. The room layout is well thought out. The property is large and the outdoor facilities (grill, panoramic sauna and jacuzzi, seating) are a great addition. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. In addition, various games for all ages for rainy days. Directly behind the house there is a nice hiking trail on the mountain and also in the area various possibilities to explore the mountains. Shopping can be done by car and 5 minutes' drive. The Syltefjord was not very rich in fish for us, but the nearby Syvdefjord was. Here, there were also porpoises to watch daily and on the evening way home, red deer with calves could be seen in the meadows. We had a fantastic time.

A wonderful cabin experience! We had a wonderful stay and are incredibly happy! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and comfortable. The cabin was sparkling clean, tidy and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for us, with beautiful nature just outside the door and good opportunities for both trips and relaxation. The host(Lisa and Hallbjørn) have been absolutely superb – they were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed❤️. Their attention to detail really made it.
