Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Serra

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! We stayed at Leonor's litte house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is situated beautifully in nature and is a great place to explore the area from. The house is small but has what you need with 2 person's. We also enjoyed the frequent visit of Leonor's father's dogs! Perfect place to relax!

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The accommodation was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The accommodation was perfectly equipped, we really lacked nothing – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the property. We like to think back to this beautiful time and can only highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

It was an incredible stay. João's space exudes tranquility. Located a few meters from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. A swimming pool fulfills the purpose and a barbecue invites you to spend moments with family or friends with the wonderful view of the dam. João did everything to ensure we had an excellent stay. It was a wonderful place with a magnificent view of the sea. A place that invites you to linger and unwind. The house was in top condition and clean. We felt completely comfortable and José was a great host.

Great place to stay. Plenty of space and perfectly maintained. Even more beautiful than in the photos. Sergio was a very good host and keeps everything super well together with his brother. It was great for our 4-year-old daughter. Nice playground. I'd go back in a minute.

We had a lovely stay in nazare at this lovely and peaceful apartment! Super comfortable and great views from balcony. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. The Porto and pastries upon our arrived was also a nice touch. Thank you Maria!

We had an amazing time staying at Rachelle's apartment. It's central and easily walkable to pretty much everything in town. Spacious and has a nice at-home feeling. Highly recommend.

We settled in very well in the apartment from the first day. It is ideally and quietly located near the beach. We liked the furnishings very much, everything is available even for a longer stay: comfortable beds and armchairs, a well-functioning fireplace for cool evenings, a sufficiently equipped kitchen and a small balcony. The communication with Laurinde was straightforward, warm and very supportive. We are happy to recommend the apartment.

One of the best if not the best place, my children did not want to leave, the space is beautiful, the house is extremely comfortable, the leisure area is impeccable, Mrs. Nikola was extremely attentive and welcoming, always responded when we had any questions! We will definitely be back many times! Thank you for everything!

We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

The house is wonderful :) all the support from Susana and Mr. Nuno was exceptional! Nothing was missing! Extremely clean house with everything you need to spend a relaxing family vacation, close enough to Tomar to visit and go shopping and far enough away to be in the quiet of the countryside. For sure, repeating it!!

We had a wonderful stay at Cantinho dos Rizos! It was the perfect spot for a family weekend—peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. Highly recommend!

We were extremely well received and received the best instructions and welcome! The interior is comfortable and the garden is relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we and our 3 dogs needed: a weekend of rest and connection with nature. I highly recommend it!

Casa dos Amigos is the perfect stay for a peaceful escape into nature! Amazing views, cozy and comfort. The space has everything you need. Paula was a great host, providing all the information proactively. Will surely repeat!

I spent a weekend at Margarita's place and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is clean, bright, nicely furnished, with a large kitchen and outdoor dining area that's lovely in the evenings. It's in a small village so obviously you shouldn't expect everything in the world at your doorstep, but that's part of the point. There's a little cafe in town with Benfica TV (came in handy this past weekend) and a supermarket an eight minute drive away. It was a bit chilly so I didn't spend a ton of time in the pool but in warmer weather, it would be a great place to hang out with friends and relax. Great value for money, excellent communication, easy check in and check out, I highly recommend Margarida's.
