Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Serranía de Ronda

Probably the best Airbnb we ever stayed, a beautiful and secluded place yet with incredibly easy access to Ronda and other areas. The place is even better than it looks like on the pictures, Gabriella is a fantastic host and very helpful. The pool area is just brilliant Love the cats! Couldn't ask more.

fantastic villa. very spacious. everything very fully equipped. modern kitchen etc etc. The only thing you have to keep in mind as a tenant is that you can actually only leave the property by car because you are right on the road. So a walk from home is not really possible or you can walk on a highway.

We had a very enjoyable stay. It was not so easy to find, but with the info of the host, who was always super available by phone, it worked. The house was idyllic and very aesthetically decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and cozy. Breakfast was included in our booking and was brought to our house in the morning, very tasty, varied and nutritious. Without a fireplace it was a bit cool, we got another heater on request. The location itself is very nice, beautiful view of the mountains and the lake, but the road in front of the house can be disturbing (not very busy). We were able to see the sunrise. You can really relax superbly, whether on the terrace or by the fireplace. Bed also very cozy and as I said, very helpful friendly hostess. For our baby there was even a baby cot.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in the Villa. The views are stunning and the house, terrace and pool are new and beautifull. A must-stay when you visit this area.

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

The accommodation is quite dark because it is a stone house that had been built to make you feel good even when it is very hot outside, which is very pleasant.

Casa Jasmina has everything needed for a stay in Gaucín. The view from the three patios down to the mediterranean, Gibraltar and the mountains of Morocco is stupendous. The location is great - just a short walk from shops and many restaurants. The house is on three levels - or four if you include the plunge pool - so not suitable for the less mobile. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable. Showers are good. The bottle of cava in the fridge was a great welcome. If you know Gaucin then you will already be prepared to park some distance away although you can drop off luggage right outside the door. We stayed 15 nights and can’t wait to come back next year.

Excellent apartment, modern and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night, but I hope to return another time and stay longer. The location is very good, on a quiet street but close to the center, and with a very convenient place to park the car. I recommend this place without hesitation!

Gary and Denise are great hosts. The appartment is clean, great and comes with a wonderful terrace. You can stay there with 4 people. Couples or singles who dont mind sharing a bedroom with two. Lots to do around town, nature and close, also by trein to Granada.

Wonderfully appointed, traditional home in a great location. It brought back memories of visiting grandma, in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Very nice apartment with roof top terrace and great views of the sea. The host was very attentive and we even had an early check in which was a real bonus. Apartment was a bit out of the way but bus stop walkable and so easy to use to get to the marina. You need the 110 M which is 1 euro 60. Apartment was spotless, coffee, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all provided. Plenty of fresh towels and beach towels. The only negative is the fact that there’s building work going on so the roof terrace wasn’t that private unless you put the umbrella up. Overall though we had a great stay and it was very peaceful. Supermarket is at the bottom of the road so very convenient for shopping.

What a absolute find. Had an amazing two weeks,the Villa was amazing and the attention to detail fantastic. Lawrence and Terri were so helpful and couldn’t have been better hosts. We loved it so much that we have booked to go back next year.

My family and I had a great week at William’s house! The place was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for all of us. William was an excellent host — very reactive and flexible with check-in and check-out times, which really helped with our travel plans. Communication was smooth and easy throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rafael’s. It was so peaceful and relaxing it was honestly the best part of our Spain trip. We felt like we were home, it had everything we needed and was so comfortable. It was close to other towns, if you wanted to get out and explore. We also really enjoyed the pool. We spent 11 days in the beautiful villa of Serena as a family. The villa looks exactly like the photos, the view is even more beautiful in real life:) The quiet location was great just because of our son. Nevertheless, we were in the middle of the action with our car within a short time. The villa has a great location to explore the surrounding cities. It was very nice of Serena to have the fridge with first things like water, toast and cold cuts ready for the first breakfast. We arrived Sunday evening and were very grateful for the service. The air conditioning was very handy. Serena's husband was also very nice at check-in and was available for tips. We highly recommend the place and would definitely go back.

Absolutely incredible! The terraces are so private and peaceful and the pool is just perfect. A truly amazing place and I would recommend it to anyone if you’re looking to relax and have an amazing getaway. Loads of great supermarkets and other shops nearby. There is also plenty to do around the area with Malaga, Ronda and Marbella not too far away. Michala was an incredible host - so communicative, responsive and friendly. La Cazalla is truly a unique and wonderful place to spend time in Andalucia. Having breakfast on the patio listening to the birds, sheep and resident horse you feel like you are miles and miles from the nearest town in the middle of the countryside.. And yet you are 10 minutes from the Ronda city wall and 15 from the town center full of shops, restaurants and amazing views. The property is full of interesting things to discover and the house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Lisa was extremely responsive and helpful with restaurant recommendations, parking tips and any other information we needed. Our stay was the highlight of our trip to Andalucia and I can't recommend it highly enough.
