Beach house holiday rentals in Sesimbra

The house is amazing and the view is absolutely incredible! We had a great weekend there and Gonçalo was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely recommend it !

The stay at Hugo's place was great. It is a very comfortable, nicely furnished and well-equipped house, especially for families with kids, in a nice area - just 5-10 minutes drive from the beach in Sesimbra. Many beautiful destinations are close by and easy to reach if you have a car. Hugo was very forthcoming, helpful and very quick to respond to all questions. Highly can recommend it.

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

The apartment is a bright, modern and centrally located duplex. The top floor has a stunning view of Sesimbra’s rooftops. And importantly, Sarita is friendly, communicative and responsive.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Carlos’s apartment. Everything we needed was there. If I had any issues at all Carlos was extremely prompt at responding and resolving things. I had misinterpreted the apartment as having a garden. There are 2 outside chairs at the end of the driveway within locked gates but not a ‘garden’ as such. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Genau wie erwartet. Ruhig, down to earth, nah an einem wenig besuchten Sandstrand und trotzdem Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc. in der Nähe. Und Claire ist eine tolle Gastgebenrin :-)

We had a great stay at Patrick's villa. Communication was excellent; he responded quickly to any queries, even printing off Latin revision homework for our granddaughter and dropping it at the house, which she really appreciated. As a mixed generations group it worked perfectly as a house, with 2 suites downstairs and 2 upstairs, all with full bathrooms. At night shutters could be lowered automatically which gave added security when travelling with 2 little girls and also ensured a good night's sleep without early morning sun waking us. Air conditioning was good with individual controls The kitchen was well equipped, everything provided. The pool was lovely, a good size and pleasantly warm, although as a minor point softer sunbeds would be a bonus. We made full use of the table tennis and pool tables, as well as using the bbq which is at the rear of the garden. The beaches are vast, a very peaceful area without the commercialism of the Algarve. Thank you Patrick for your hospitality.

Le challenge était de taille, trouver un logement pour des vacances en famille avec 14 personnes, de 1 à 61 ans. Le logement a été plus qu'à la hauteur de nos attentes. La maison est très grande, ce qui a permis à chacun d'avoir de l'espace, très fonctionnelle, et bien équipée. La décoration est atypique et a son charme, on s'y sent tout de suite bien. Jorge, l'hôte, a été très réactif depuis le début. Venir au Portugal avec une grande famille, il fallait des certitudes, et il a su nous rassurer, vis à vis du logement, mais aussi de l'emplacement. Il nous a reçu à une heure très tardive dans la nuit, avec le sourire, et la bonne humeur. Il a été adorable tout le long de notre séjour, et nous le remercions infiniment car grâce à sa gentillesse et sa maison nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables. Dernier petit remerciement, sur les conseils de Jorge, nous avons fait appel au chef Edouardo, @pseudorestaurante, qui a su nous régaler avec des plats locaux.

We have just returned from an amazing week at Paulo’s house. The place is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. It was spotless throughout and plenty of towels provided. There were some lovely personal touches, my mum particularly loved the crocheted blankets. The garden is lovely, the pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures and a really good depth. There are steps the whole width of the pool going in which was fabulous for the kids. The garden just keeps going and was really well thought out with areas of sun and shade at all times of the day depending on your preference and easy to keep an eye the kids in the pool from most areas. There is a beautiful beach about 20mins from the house but not easy to get down to. Lovely beaches within drivable distance as well. Paulo was proactive in his communication and was very responsive to any queries we had. Overall I’d highly recommend Paulo’s house, it’s amazing value for money and a lovely relaxing place to stay.

Casa do Poço is a wonderful comfortable home. Cristina is a friendly host who welcomed us with open arms. She is knowledgeable about the local area and she added a personal touch by providing gluten free snacks for my son and extra towels for the pool. We especially enjoyed the outside space, the garden is well maintained and the pool was a big favourite with the children. There is a great terrace to eat outside and the local area is peaceful. It’s a short distance to the lagoon and sea, highly recommend watching the sunset from the beach. We have made some special family memories here and would definitely stay again.

nous avons choisi cette superbe maison pour passer un séjour mon épouse et moi avec une amie, son fils et sa belle-fille. Idéalement située, les photos de l’annonce parlent d’elle-même. Le salon est très confortable, la cuisine est parfaitement équipé, il ne manque rien. Le bbq est de très bonne qualité. La piscine est agréable et la vue sur l’océan et le coucher de soleil sont tous simplement à couper le souffle. Vous êtes accueillis par les hôtes qui vous font le tour du propriétaire pour finalement vous dire voilà, vous êtes chez vous avant de vous quitter. Lurdes et Luis sont charmants. Ils passent tout les trois jours en fin de journée pour arroser la végétation, prendre les poubelles et entretenir la piscine. Cela se fait très rapidement et il est possible d’échanger avec eux nombres d’informations. Ils parlent très bien le français. Les plages à moins de dix minutes en voiture sont magnifiques. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht – insgesamt waren wir 8 Erwachsene und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet, mit einer guten Raumaufteilung und das große Grundstück mit dem Pool war definitiv eines unserer Highlights. Die Lage ist ruhig und erholsam – ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt zu empfehlen für größere Einkäufe etc. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die morgendliche Besuch eines netten Ehepaars, das mit dem Auto durch die Gegend fuhr und frische Brötchen, Brot sowie leckere portugiesische Spezialitäten verkauft hat. Die beiden kündigen sich mit Musik an – ein echtes Urlaubserlebnis! Antony war als Gastgeber zwar nicht vor Ort, aber jederzeit gut erreichbar. Zusätzlich hatte er eine sehr freundliche Kontaktperson für uns organisiert, die sich vor Ort um alles gekümmert hat. Alles in allem eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit einem engagierten Gastgeber – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir hatten tolle Tage im Blessing Beach House. Es ist alles da was man braucht und die Abende am Pool und Grill waren sehr entspannt. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und wir hatten genug Platz und Freiraum. 5 Minuten entfernt ist ein großer Strand mit tollen Restaurants und hohen Wellen. In 15 Minuten ist man auf der anderen Seite vom Kap in Sesimbra (weniger Wind und Wellen). Besonders ist hervorzuheben, dass Marianas Papa regelmäßig in der Früh vorbeigekommen ist und die Wasserqualität überprüft hat.

La maison de Sergio est idéale pour des vacances tranquilles au Portugal. Pour les couples avec enfants il est nécessaire d’être véhiculées pour accéder à la plage (parking payant 1€), à pied pour les marcheurs (dénivelé important pour revenir). Le logement se situe à 20min de Sesimbra ville très agréable où nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre temps. La plage est plus pratique avec enfants mais moins sauvage. À notre arrivée la maison était impeccable nous avons fortement apprécié. Le centre ville est proche et laisse profiter de quelques cafés et restaurants de qualité. Quelque peu bruyant la nuit (route passante, chiens, …) et tôt le matin (animaux, coqs) mais rien qui pourrait nous faire regretter notre choix pour ce séjour. C’était une excellent expérience.

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Thank you very much Sofia.

A la casa no le faltaba detalle,muy bonita y cuidada. El único pero son las duchas,la bañera de abajo muy pequeña y la ducha de arriba si eres un poco grande no entras por las puertas de la mampara,es complicado hasta lavarse el pelo porque te dan los codos

Incroyable séjour à Comporta dans ce magnifique cabanon typique. Les images ,e trompent pas, la maison est encore plus belle es vraie, les extérieurs sont magnifique, le jardin est très bien entretenu et le jasmin est exceptionnel !

L’alloggio di Joao e Sandra è un gioiellino. Verrete calati immediatamente in un’atmosfera unica, in una casa con grande charme. L’alloggio è arredato con buon gusto e dispone di tutto il necessario per cucinare in casa, volendolo. I pasti principali vanno fatti fuori secondo noi, vasta scelta dappertutto. Letto molto comodo. Siamo stati accolti cordialmente e abbiamo ricevuto risposte veloci e precise ad ogni nostra domanda. Stazione a pochi minuti! Consigliamo vivamente questo alloggio e ringraziamo molto Joao e Sandra.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, and we'd definitely come again. It started with a comprehensive & fun welcome by our host Ben, which left nothing unanswered. The house was exactly as it had looked on the pictures, a great size for our family of 5 (couple and 3 teenage kids), fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy backyard that we didn't have enough time to use. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms nice and clean. The best thing about the house is definitely the location - perfectly close to the old town with all its tiny streets & restaurants (5-minute walk) as well as the 3 beaches, yet far enough to feel removed, quiet, and not touristy. Couldn't have been better, and the wonderful Brazilian restaurant "Guimas" across the street is a big bonus. Lastly, we rented eBikes for a day and the place recommended by the host, Bike-n-ride, was terrific. All in all, a great stay at a great place!

Es hat meiner Frau, meiner Tochter und mir sehr gut gefallen. Gab nur ne kleine Irritation bei der Anreise, die aber sofort gelöst wurde. Der kleine Innenhof ist toll. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Danke
