The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
