Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shelby County

This place was very nice! It met all my expectations and then some. It had everything you needed from puzzles to cookbooks. The decor was very nice it was clean and smelled good. Shopping was conveniently located from Walmart to the Outlet. The spacing was great for all the guest from the very comfortable patio with a firepit to the Livingroom with a very comfortable sofa to the dining area with plenty of seating. If you were cooking, the kitchen was equipped with everything needed and enough space for conversations while cooking. Overall it was a great House :-)

We wanted a quick, midweek, night away for our 20th Anniversary. We’d had a particularly overwhelming a stressful, busy couple of weeks with other family commitments and a death near the family. We booked the day before our stay- very last minute! Becky & Heather were fantastic hosts. The house was ready, the hot tub looked brand new it was so clean, the backyard is an oasis of relaxation, and everything was just perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy! We ordered take out from the nearby Crestwood Bistro- delicious!! Just wish we’d had more time. We’ll definitely recommend Becky & Heather’s place to friends and family.

This house was great for our big family get-together. It had all the space we needed for 16 people (8 adults and 8 kids) and had plenty of activities to keep us busy! We enjoyed nights by the fire, time in the hot tub, games, and conversation. It was just a great all-around meeting place for all of us that live around the country. The house is also located on a country road that we enjoyed walking on. It was close to both Lexington and Louisville, which was super convenient for going out and doing stuff! Also close to shops and groceries. Super clean and great hosts!!!

What a great getaway! We came for the excitement of the bourbon trail, but it was nice to unwind and relax in the privacy of this home!

Great clean house great pool great communication with host. Perfect for a stay in the country but still can go to Louisville. Even Shelbyville was a fun little town. Would for sure go back

Our stay was fantastic. We selected this location due to our daughter getting married at Duncan Memorial Chapel that was just across the street and was also in close proximity to the reception venue, Shall We Dance. There was plenty of space (bedrooms and baths) for our family and the bridal attendants to stay. The kitchen was absolutely perfect for preparing and serving meals as well as prepping floral arrangements for the wedding and reception. The home provided many areas for people to sit and converse both inside and outside as there are wonderful porches and decks around the home. Scott was a great host and quickly responded to any questions we had prior to our arrival. This was a perfect place to stay as it provided a calming and serene haven from the sometimes frenzied activities that occur during the run-up to a wedding. We're glad we selected this property for our stay.

The house was beautifully restored. Loved everything about this old farmhouse. Even though it was restored, the farmhouse had all of the modern amenities! It felt so comfy and cozy even down to the beds. Andrea was so responsive and even made sure the porch lights were on because we were checking in late. If I were in this area again, I would definitely be staying here!!!

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

Cute and cozy place in the heart of downtown Frankfort. Hosts were very communicative, friendly, and helpful. This was a very easy location to find and had a lot of charm. Beds were comfortable, towels were nice and a Kuerig was available with k-cups provided. They even supplied little soaps, shampoo, and a hair dryer. Great option for a bourbon trail trip.

What a beautiful spot! The home was extremely well taken care of and walkable to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. Jason and Toni were incredibly responsive. Wish we were able to stay longer!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Libor’s place. We were in town for a weekend wedding, and the location was perfect—close to restaurants, coffee shops, and some really cute thrift and regular stores. The house itself was super cute and spacious. The only thing we really missed was a full-length mirror, especially since we had to get dressed up often. It would’ve been very helpful to have one. Overall we recommend Libor’s place!

Devin and NaKayla’s place delivers on its promise. It’s perfectly located right in the center of town on 4th, making it super convenient for getting around. Everything in the home was in great working order, clean, and neatly organized. I can warmly recommend staying here – a smooth and comfortable experience all around!

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. Thanks

Exceeded expectations! You know you’re always nervous about staying somewhere unknown, but wow this was absolutely perfect. Enjoyed walking down the block that first night and then it’s located very close to everything. Gave a home feeling too. Would definitely recommend ❤️

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. If we’re lucky enough to visit the derby again in the future, we would definitely look at staying here. Thank you for a great stay Annette!

We recently stayed at this cozy private retreat, and it was the perfect family getaway. Tucked away from the chaos of everyday life, it offered the peace and privacy we didn’t even realize we needed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
