While taking advantage of the appearance of the Taisho townhouse, it is comfortably arranged to suit modern stays. The house has a Japanese-style room, a Western-style bedroom, a bathroom, and a dining space. There are no kitchen knives or stoves, so you can't cook indoors, but there are restaurants within walking distance.Please use the side dishes and bento boxes from the supermarket. A fully private sauna is available at any time during your stay. We have Ibuki herbs available for self-flow. Artworks are displayed in the building. Loft on top of a machiya

This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
