It is surrounded by four white-walled storehouses built in the Edo period and four gardens. It has been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization), including the white plaster walls and natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through the water fountains, the ladles, the deer scarecrows, the stream between the stepping stones, and the pond. The neighborhood is only a private house, so it is about a 10-minute drive to a nearby restaurant. Although the room is separated from my place of residence, I will be staying there. It is about 40 minutes by car from Naha Airport.You can also come by bus, but we recommend renting a car. If you prefer, we can also recommend convenient rental cars that can be picked up and returned at the airport. Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.

This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
