Chie is very friendly and her place is in a great location—ideal for two. A more local neighborhood, not filled with tourists, so perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

Nice place, with everything you need. If you need to work or spend some time in, it’s a little bit dark, even if there is a small terrace which is precious. The neighborhood is nice and easy for food and groceries. The subway is near, five minutes walk, and even if you have to commute in Shibuya most of the times, it’s not difficult. It’s a nice stay.

This is a really great location! Loved the area, it was pleasant to explore with many small shops, thrift stores and markets! It’s also within walking distance of the train station for convenience. Naomi is super friendly and an amazing host! Would stay again when I come back to visit. Location wise definitely easy to navigate to from the airport. Highly recommend for someone new to Japan and unfamiliar with the train system.

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

Clean, quiet, and very well appointed home. It was obvious the host took great care to try and think of every detail to make this a comfortable stay. He was exceptionally responsive and also helped me with some of my trip plans when I asked. It was greatly appreciated! It is not close to the center of the city, which wasn’t always convenient but I would not have wanted to stay in the heart of bustling Shibuya, so it really comes down to preference.

We loved staying at Shimbashi West Section L! Concierge was extremely warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth and easy. We loved the entire vibe of this place! The lounge was comfortable and had a tea, coffee and soft drink station with some snacks that you could help yourselves with. We arrived Wed and they have happy hour where they featured a few drinks for self serve. The overall room was thoughtfully designed and had storage under the bed. There's a bench, table and chair for you to sit and have meals. The room was furnished with appliances and their app had instructions. There were 2 ac units. The water pressure was great. The toilet & shower was a bit larger and there was counter space for stuff. In the halls, we could hear families with kids - the rooms were soundproof very well. We tried the sauna which was a great way to wind down and relax. I'd highly recommend staying here, it's clean, thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home!

We loved chie's place. It was a stone's throw away from the train station which was just what we were looking for. It is maybe a 2 min walk away from the family mart and the grocery. Being able to cook in Japan is really a plus as expenses from eating out add up quickly. Chie was very responsive and helpful throughout. Will definitely stay again.

Nice house 15 minutes walk from Shinagawa Station, where you can access the Yamanote Line and all the major areas you want to visit in Tokyo. The neighborhood is nice, with small supermarkets and restaurant. So a very good base from where you can explore Tokyo. We where 4, and had plenty of space for all. The beds are confortable and the washing/drying machine easy to use and very useful. The owners responded quickly to our queries and where always helpfull. Strongly recommend this place. Ko an Yuko’s place is beautiful. It’s a 3 floor standalone house in an awesome location. You can reach anywhere in Tokyo within a 10 minute walk to the station. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and quiet and it’s hard to believe that within a 2-5-10 minute walk how many great restaurants there are. The famous shibuya scramble is also around a 10 minute walk. The home itself is beautiful full of amenities that you could need in a bnb. Kitchen, bathroom, rooms all are well equipped and easy to use. The best part ofcourse are the hosts they personally greeted us and spent a long time explaining everything about the home and the neighborhood. They are really nice people and they care a lot. Ko and Yuko are very thoughtful, warm and friendly people. It was lovely to have made such nice friends.

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Koji and Nami went above and beyond to accommodate us - especially as I had a bad knee, they were very flexible with making sure I was okay. They had great recommendations of where to eat and shop and were extremely responsive. The house was spotless and very comfortable in a convenient location. if i come back to tokyo, i will definitely stay here. Koji and Nami are sincere, genuine, and kind people. The perfect hosts.

I would say this is one of the best if not the best Airbnb in Tokyo. Our stay here felt like staying in our own home. We highly recommend this place to anyone who needs one while visiting Tokyo and nearby areas. Lastly, the owner responds prompyly to inquiries and is honest in dealing with customers.

Het is een mooi appartement met veel ruimte. Alles was aanwezig. De wc en badkamer waren heel schoon. Hippe en leuke omgeving met veel koffietentjes en restaurants. Mari en Miki zijn heel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️

We had a lovely stay at Ryusuke’s place. We chose the location because it was in the neighborhood of our friends. We easily took the bus and train from close to his place. The flat was very spacious and met all our needs. There’s a delicious bakery close and some nice restaurants. We would stay again. Thank you!

Second time staying at this building, first on a higher level and this time on the third, and I love everything about it. Incredibly clean, easy check-in process, modern amenities, very efficiently-designed for a smaller space and apartment has everything you need to make you feel local and comfortable.
