Cabin holiday rentals in Sierra County

An absolutely fantastic place, great layout, very cozy, private, incredible location. I liked that just about every bedroom has it's own full bathroom, a rare and hard to find commodity when searching for a place to stay on vacation. Another big plus is the amenities of the Nakoma Resort were included, WOW!!! Lets not forget about the views off the back deck of the green on the 6th hole of The Dragon GC. I especially liked the binder showing the lakes around the area, I caught some Largemouth bass at Lake Davis. Looking forward to doing this again next year. It's a nice cabin on the hill in the lovely small town. We were provided a clear instruction how to drive to the house. The bed was comfy and we have snacks and drinks to enjoy the deck. Deborah & Roger are very friendly, thoughtful and always make sure we get everything we need. Definitely come back!

What a PERFECT landing pad for 10 of us visiting the resort for a family wedding. The house is perfectly set up where you don’t feel crowded despite so many people in one home. The area is gorgeous and we arrived right at full bloom of the local wildflowers surrounding the home. 3.5 bathrooms was perfectly suffice; water for showers were always hot (again, despite the many people using the amenities). Beds were super comfortable as was the giant living room couch that many of us took naps on. Loved hanging on the back porch enjoying the peaceful surroundings in the sun. Host was exceptionally responsive and kind. Would recommend this home to anyone and would absolutely return. 5 stars - no question!

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a really nice stay at this cabin! There were many little details that made it very comfortable, like great water pressure in the shower and nice, hot water, lots of towels, lots of places to hang things, nothing was broken, the bed was comfortable. The decor was also very cute! Checking in and out was easy, too. We liked it!

Is exactly what to expect as far as cabins go.

We had such a great time as a family. The location of this particular cabin is so nice having a family with young ones. We went for the snow and will be coming back! It’s so much nicer to be able to come back warm up, cook a meal and relax before taking the family back out. Va the alternative of driving home. We did make it easy on ourselves and brought our own air fryer to speed up some of the meals I had planned for the family.

We love our stay at Jeremy's Place. Waking up to the sound of the river running and sitting with coffee amongst the trees was a delight. The access to many hiking trails also cannot be beat.

Wonderful place to unplug and relax. We loved everything especially the record player in the room. We listened to every album. They love dogs and my pooch had so much fun pretending he is a big mountain dog. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the area. It most certainly is rustic but not roughing it. My favorite way to travel. Plus the hot springs are nearby! So much outdoorsy fun to help you feel alive ❤️

What an amazing place. It felt like camping without the camping. We loved that it was deep in the forest. It was quiet and beautiful. Would stay again. Very quaint cabin with everything you need for a few days get away from the world.

Anna's place was absolutely what we were looking for to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings in the Sierras! It's a cozy little house with a great porch and everything you could need as a home base. Anna was super responsive and helpful and went above and beyond in her communications when we had questions. I was there for a long birding field trip and my friend spent her days hanging in and around the property while I was out and about. She had lovely peaceful days reading on the porch, lounging in the cozy recliner, and taking little nature walks in the neighborhood. If you are in the area to enjoy the incredible surroundings, you won't find a better host than Anna!

This is our third time staying at the cabin, and we have loved our stay. Adam has been great as always we highly recommend this wonderful cabin.

Stayed in Sierra City for our daughter's wedding this weekend. Diane's place was perfect for us, lots of room in the kitchen for setting up the flowers! Comfortable and quiet. This place is on our list for a return visit.

We stayed here last summer and came back this time because it’s all so perfect! The place is neat, clean and somehow the temperature inside is so comfortable even on the hot summer days of temperatures over 90 degrees outside. Can walk to town for a coffee or a meal, hike the trails nearby or drive to Gold Lake, only ten minutes away, to get on our paddle boards. Shawn is lovely and checks in just enough to make sure all is good. We will be back.

Second time visiting. Enjoyed the rustic charm of the cabin and the peaceful forest around. Wonderful place to slow down and rest away from the buzz. Big Pond is full in spring and kayaking it alongside geese was such a wonderful experience! Appreciate the place and Adam being such a welcoming host.

We had a great stay at this home in Graeagle! The house was very clean, well-organized, and everything was clearly labeled, which made it super easy to find what we needed. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. It was also in a perfect location—just minutes from the Graeagle Corner Barn, where we were attending a wedding. Nick was a wonderful host—very communicative and accommodating throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay as always, check in was super easy and the weather was great this time around. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a private peaceful getaway. We cracked the window open to hear the creek flowing and got to play with Blue the dog in the morning and the goats!

We had an amazing stay at Alli and Paul's cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing with an amazing view! Alli and Paul were great hosts and reached out a few days before our stay to send videos of how to get to their cabin if we lost cell reception, and instructions to start the generator and lots more to ensure that we would not have any issues. We highly recommend their cabin and would definitely want to return.
