What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lhama Residency in Gangtok. The warmth and hospitality of the staff truly made us feel at home. A special mention to Mr.Despath and Daisy, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort their kindness and attentiveness were unmatched. Every meal felt like it was made with love, especially the delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. It was heartwarming to come back to such tasty and comforting food after a day of exploring. Anmol and Sanjog the helping boys, was always there with a smile, ready to assist us whenever needed. The entire experience was peaceful, homely, and memorable. We’re truly grateful for the genuine care and service we received. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gangtok!

The stay was really awesome, it's in the heart of Gangtok and every places are accessible from there. The place was clean. And the host was really helpful she guided us really well on reaching there. I'll recommend anyone who is wishing to visit Gangtok to stay there. overall it was a nice stay.

Very nice and welcoming people. Both Laxmi ji and his wife made us feel right at home. He treated us like their own family member, always responsive and keen on taking care of us. They've got a picturesque place right at the hilltop, the view was so pristine and beautiful that we felt we should've stared at the mountains and nature all day long. We had a great time there! We thank Laxmi ji and his family from the bottom of our hearts!

I had an amazing 4-day stay at Himalayan Hues! From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. The homeowner and the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I also had the chance to try some delicious homemade food from their restaurant, which made the experience even better. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, and honestly, the room was even better in real life than it looked in the pictures. I would highly recommend staying here — it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Sikkim!

A big thumbs up for this family who are running such a beautiful, well maintained and cozy AirBnB in the heart of Gangtok. Being about 1 km from MG Marg, you are away from the hustle of the touristy road yet closeby. Bunch of local shops next door help you with daily needs. Above all, Nima, her kids, her mom and aunts are always prompt and proactive to make your stay comfortable. The home made food was delicious. The kids were the ones to receive us and they did a fabulous job at such a young age in helping us check in with our almost a dozen bags, and later on we're always on call to help us with anything. The WiFi was not working due to bad weather, but the family was prompt to get it fixed soon. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Gangtok. We would love to stay again when we visit Gangtok.

We loved our stay at Anu’s place. It’s extremely well located as it is close to the share taxi stand that takes you towards the city as well as the one to get to Nathula pass. It is also privately located and very cozy! But the best part of the stay was Anu as a host- very friendly, quick to respond, proactive and extremely helpful when it came to planning out things to do. Highly recommend!

My stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly amazing. Mr Kunzang and his family were incredibly helpful and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like part of the family. Mr Kunzang's expertise in planning itineraries was invaluable. He helped me decide on the perfect route for exploring Gangtok, Ravangla, Namchi, Pelling, and Darjeeling. His recommendations were spot on, and he even arranged for convenient conveyance throughout my trip. The homestay itself was cozy and comfortable. Mr Kunzang's family was always eager to share their knowledge of the region's culture, history, and hidden gems. Thanks to Mr. Kunzang and his family, my trip was stress-free and unforgettable.

We had a very comfortable great stay here. It was a very well maintained property and the hosts are really accompanting. They even serve homely breakfast which is delicious. Mr. Tenzing and Mr. Chedup are extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gangtok.

it was a amazing stay ,nice and beautiful apartment, peaceful view , sabita didi was a great host , she was always available when required, well maintained house , we loved it so much that extended our stay . shortcut road was tricky, but totally worth it ... ppl having issues with steep road , there's an alternative smooth road but a long one which takes around 5min to reach the main road. mg Marg takes around 40 mins by walk with a broad beautiful road , local taxis r always available with standard rate . totally recommended for a peaceful stay .

Acube Home Stay truly felt like a home away from home. The warmth of the hosts , the spotless rooms, beautiful people like Rinzing the little chef and the caretaker (missed his name) and the peaceful surroundings with the soothing sound of primary waterfall, made the stay both comforting and memorable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, reflecting a high standard of hospitality. I left feeling refreshed and grateful — a place I’d gladly return to and recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sanjay's place! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured, with thoughtful touches like welcome snacks, toiletries, etc.. The location was perfect while still being quiet and peaceful. Sanjay was an excellent communicator, responding quickly to any questions and making check-in/out seamless. We especially loved the cozy balcony, well-equipped kitchen, stylish decor. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to others!

The Description does justice to the actual place, however expected the place to be a bit more spacious it was a snug fit for 7 people. pros Clean place responsive host good location as food is easily accessible cons the neighbours were a bit noisy WiFi has relatively low speed (4mbps) the property is located in a small street so big cars plan accordingly overall good value for money and a very good host would recommend and stay again

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

We stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. The host was very kind and took care of everything we asked for. He also helped us find drivers for trips out of town and for laundry services. The apartment is in a central but quiet location. The rooms and kitchen were clean, spacious and comfortable. The apartment's balcony is very wide and comfortable. It overlooks a stunning view and is very pleasant to sit on at all hours of the day.

It was like a home away from home for us! Kashyap and Nikitha were very hospitable to us, giving us the right guidance and suggestions when needed. Mr. Kashyap and Nikitha, were exceptionally warm, generous, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Nikitha treated us to delicious, home-cooked Sikkimese meals that were filled with love just like how a family would host you and specially thanx them they cooked swaminarayan food for us without onion and garlic coz this was task for them but did very well.The views from the home are absolutely breathtaking—pictures do not do justice to how peaceful and scenic the place is. 3 time mor then pictures what mr kashyap give us. The hosts mr kashyap i didn't have word for to tell coz even we arrive in our home town he call me and says that you arrive to your home safely? tell me who can care like this ? for mr kashyap i can says that i did not find host like him in my life. i blindly say if some one wants to go sikkim go with him.
