Holiday rentals with beach access in Simon's Town

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

Kim was fabulous as was her place. Exactly what I needed being solo in the area for a few days. Also easy walk into Simon’s Town.

This serene and spacious apartment is bright, sunny and with a spectacular view over the harbour of Kalk Bay and False Bay. We love Kalk Bay and its walkability, restaurants, boho boutiques, and nearby natural ocean tidal swimming pools. This apartment is the answer!

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

An amazing stay! We loved our stay at this apartment. It was clean and neat, stunning ocean views from the apartment, walkable distance to the beach and great restaurants. Natasha was also extremely responsive, sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this stay. O

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

Words cannot describe the location of this property. Literally ON the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Private and tranquil. Honestly just felt like heaven when on the deck by the pool looking out over this setting. A little jealous that I don’t get to live there. 😉 Absolutely stunning.

I had a great stay at Michelle's place. The cottage was fully and tastefully equipped with everything I could need for my 2 night stay. Their communication around the booking was excellent and they were all welcoming and helpful, without being intrusive. The location of the property was perfect for me, not far from the beach or the town.

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

I really enjoyed my stay in Cape Town! The house is lovely, cozy and so welcoming. The surrounding view is stunning from the deck and I really got my steps in walking around and down the Capstan Steps. My hosts, Joel and Anchenn are incredibly kind and went out of their way to show me around Simons Town and Cape Town proper. They made this the perfect break and I can’t wait to be back! 🤍✨

What a wonderful and beautiful stay. As a mid-week breakaway from daily routine, this was the perfect place to work remotely (with reliable, fast Wifi), whilst also being able to relax and regenerate (the views, location, relaxed atmosphere). Communication was also super thorough and I appreciated the warm and welcome approach. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

This is near the end of a cul de sac, where you can walk along the wildlife reserve and down to the beach. It is a quiet spot and a spacious, romantic house. Wonderfully kitted out kitchen, comfortable bed with new linens, and a lovely outdoor table and couch. You can also walk to all the restaurants and cafes from here. The garden is open to the sky with trees and succulents. There's no sea view from the patio but the birds and privacy make up for it, and I enjoyed many walks to the beach and hours spent on the patio to eat and write. Great coffee pot as well!

Stayed at Leo’s place for 4 nights. Timon was assisting us throughout. Very helpful. Always replied to our any questions at any time. We weren’t able to operate the heater, so he came down specially to show us and made a video also got an extra electric heater if we still can’t operate the manual one. Loved the place. It’s just perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with gorgeous views and near to all the restaurants and supermarkets We had a great time :)

The house was lovely and spacious with everyhting we needed. There were high quality finishings which gave us a 5 star experience. Aubrey and Kerry were fantastic hosts. We didn't go to the beach much due to the weather but we had lots of scenic walks in the area. We would definitely go back and stay there again!

I can’t say enough great things about Laurene’s place! Phenomenal location with amazing coffee shops and eateries around. Felt very safe there as well. Laurene was so fast and responsive and had tons of great location suggestions of things to do. The jacuzzi was a great touch for weary bones after walking all day! I highly recommend this place!!

What a great spot with easy access to the beach or pools. In winter, you have the ever changing sea views but due to the recessed position less noise. It was a relaxing sanctuary after our work days and Liz was an attentive hostess, arranging an easier parking for our large car … For those who struggle with mobility there are steps to the well appointed unit.

Amazing lock up and go spot located in close proximity to all the awesome spots in town with some of the most amazing views! Would definitely stay again!

I would definitely stay at this accommodation again! Yvonne is a great host and very responsive to communication. The apartment is lovely, clean, and smells wonderful. It was as described and directly across the ocean. 5 stars!

I love this Airbnb. It has a little solarium sitting room with a small fireplace when it’s chilly and then when it’s warm out, you can sit outside in this huge lanai overlooking the ocean. It’s magnificent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. There is no formal kitchen. There’s an area that you can prepare food using a kettle and a toaster and a hot plate but the sink is in another part of the apartment. It’s a little unusual, but it doesn’t matter because the place is so fantastic. But you wouldn’t really want to cook a meal there it’s more like your breakfast foods Things like that. But you wouldn’t want to cook there’s so many good places to go out to eat. This is a great place to stay. It’s also safe as a doorman and again you’re in the penthouse. !!
