Holiday rentals with beach access in Sintra

Great location to access the beach and for trips out to Sintra. Great bakery below the unit.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans l’appartement de Nathy qui a une vue magnifique sur l’océan. Le logement est impeccable et très bien décoré . Nathy nous a super bien accueilli à notre arrivée et nous a communiqué toutes les informations nécessaires pour nous permettre de passer un bon séjour. Et aussi, nous avons eu un panier garni de douceur, vin, pain et autres . Je recommande ce logement très bien situé et exceptionnel avec cette vue magnifique sur la mer et à 5 minutes à pied pour aller à la plage.

Had the place booked for members of my family and they were very much pleased by the experience and time they had there, indicating their intention to seek the opportunity to stay at Vasco's place during their next visit.

We had a lovely stay at Jorges apartment. The view from the living room was amazing and the beach was truely a gem! The apartment had everything needed and Jorge was a very thoughtful host, making sure we arrived safely. Can‘t recommend it enough!!!

Very well-located and homey 3 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Easy walk to Sintra National Palace and the historic center. Apartment had everything needed for our long term stay of 3 months. If something wasn’t working as expected, host and owner were very responsive to replace item or fix it. Apartment is more vintage style than modern. There were lots of decorations and paintings by the owner which made it feel homey. There are heat / air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms and the living room - they worked great. Apartment is a good size and layout. One of the three bedrooms is attached to the other bedroom (there is a door that separates the two rooms, and then a curtain that can be used to separate the two rooms even more) - this worked great for our kids but just be mindful of this layout. Overall, great stay!

Kohde sijaitsee täydellisessä ympäristössä, jossa on paljon tekemistä. Majoittaja on todella ystävällinen ja antoi meille paljon hyödyllisiä neuvoja. Se oli selvästi myös hänelle tärkeää että nautimme olostamme paljon. Asunto oli puhdas ja kaunis.

Noemia was a great host and the place was very clean. We will definitely stay again in my next visit to Sintra.

Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Красивое аутентичное место. Спокойное, тихое, с верхнего этажа виден океан, закат был обворожительный. Домик внутри чистый опрятный все было в нем. Находится в горах, свежий воздух, тишина. Улочки узкие, но местные жители очень приветливые, уступчивые и дружелюбные. Огромное спасибо хозяевам за созданный уют.

A great house with all that you need and very quiet location. Colares is an ideal location and easy for beaches/Sintra/Cascais and only 45 mins from Lisbon. Lee and Sabina very helpful/responsive.

Genau wie erwartet. Ruhig, down to earth, nah an einem wenig besuchten Sandstrand und trotzdem Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc. in der Nähe. Und Claire ist eine tolle Gastgebenrin :-)

The home was lovely, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is quiet, yet very close to the Sintra National Palace (about 400m). The only warning I would have is that, if you are not a good walker, you might have trouble. The home cannot be accessed by taxi/Bolt/Uber or public transit, and to get to the Palace (for example), there is a moderately steep downhill, followed by a moderately steep uphill. Of course, Sintra is very hilly, so this should not be a surprise. :-) But we would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Sintra.

This place is amazing!!! One of my all time favorite airbnbs, and I have stayed in some great ones. We arrived after a long flight and Isabel greeted us with port, fresh bread and cheese. The home has everything you need, from beach umbrellas, a handmade shopping bag, and games for the kids, to toothbrushes, espresso, wine and milk. And you can see the ocean! The yard is so peaceful, with hammock and bean bags, outdoor dining table, fire pit, and a turtle. The kids loved visiting her five adorable dogs (in the backyard, you can avoid them if you don't like dogs) and parakeets. You can walk one block to a cafe, butcher, and store with all you need, and just a few blocks to the ocean. The home and yard is full of birdsong, breeze, and natural light, and there is a fireplace for colder months. She was also flexible with check out and brought an art kit over for my daughter. I already miss my time there.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Ana und Paula war einfach großartig. Die Lage ist perfekt – nur wenige Minuten zum Strand und zum charmanten Dorfkern mit vielen tollen Restaurants. Ana und Paula waren jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn wir Unterstützung brauchten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Klare 5+ Sterne!

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

El apartamento de Luis es lo mejor. La verdad que está bien ubicado, en frente de la playa, estás a máximo 20 minutos en Uber del centro de Lisboa, tienes supermercados cerca y además un restaurante de sushi justo al lado que es increíble. Así que cuando regresen a Lisboa, el apartamento de Luis es el lugar.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

밤에 조금 혼자다니기엔 무서운 위치긴 한데, 전반적으로 아주 좋은 숙소입니다.

Todo ha sido maravilloso, la ubicación, el alojamiento y el anfitrión. Ling fue muy amable en todo momento, dando recomendaciones muy útiles. Cuando volvamos a Lisboa repetiremos, sin duda.

Foram 2 dias incríveis, descansei e consegui aproveitar bem. Obrigada Nuno pela hospitalidade 🙏🏻

Great place to stay with an amazing market at your footsteps. Easy access directly to the heart of the city. Amazing host as well!
