Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Siskiyou County

Staying at Shannon’s place was an absolute delight! The house was easy to find, and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house cooled really well during the heat of the day. The hot tub was hot and ready to go right after checkin (no long heat-up). We had everything we needed to grill out. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Slept like a queen ❤️ Wish I could’ve stayed longer. I was so sad when it came time to check out. 5 stars all around!

The communication leading up to our stay was great and the cabin itself was so perfect to make dinner and wind down at the end of the night. I would absolutely stay here again.

Your place is truly awesome. Felt very much at home and appreciated all the little touches…quality linens, white towels, kitchen stocked, beautiful decor, great coffee bar, clean and warm/friendly. Close to the little market which was perfect to get our food for our stay-in cooking. And, your art is amazing. One of us is an artist, so we really appreciated your talent and the artistic flair throughout. ♥️

Great stay! We traveled with our two kids (and their pack n plays) and there was plenty of space. The listing made very clear that upstairs neighbors would be heard from the basement unit, and this was true but not a huge deal. Great proximity to downtown and all that Shasta has to offer. We booked a second stay for our return trip!

A very cute little place in the mountains! Very warm and cozy and felt like home! Very clean and would stay again! Two people in our party of 4 are 6’5” so they found the beds uncomfortable due to having a railing at the foot of the bed so something to think about if you have a tall party! Rooms do get a little toasty without window A/C but living area well controlled by split unit! Host is great and location close to lots of hiking! Town itself is a little dead but a very quiet place to be!

Great Airbnb experience. Super convenient location for walking to shops and restaurants. Beds were clean and comfy. Bathroom was nice as well. We enjoyed watching movies in the living room and the coffee with cream and sugar was great too. Lauren was a helpful and communicative host. Would love to come back again.

The stay was great. Michelle was a great host, and was flexible. the house was pristine and in a nice location. Great place to stay if you are in the area.

We love the small town vibe. People are friendly. Dog-friendly. Anna’s house is cozy, felt like home. The kitchen is well stocked.

Very responsive and all as said. It's in nature but only about a 15 min drive to town. A great spot for then going hiking, or relaxing.

I had an amazing stay at Valentina’s place! It’s really cozy and well-equipped — the kitchen had awesome high-quality supplies and the bed is super comfortable! I also really appreciated being able to check out at noon. Valentina is super friendly, thoughtful and proactive — shared lots of local recommendations and made sure everything went smoothly. Would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place. The location was perfect as a base for Mount Shasta and the surrounding area. The historic building is quaint and the town is homey. Despite the age of the building, the apartment was quite clean and had everything we needed and more. Great value for an awesome location! Steve was very helpful and responsive and made us feel welcomed. Would love to return!

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

I absolutely loved staying at the Birds Nest. It is a super cozy little apartment. Tyra and her team are extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Tyra as a host. I am looking forward to staying there agin in the future. 5 star place and host!

Beautiful place, very well cared for, and with stunning views of Mt Shasta. My family and I felt right at home, the hosts were friendly and responsive, have clearly thought of everything to ensure guests are happy. We loved the place!

Snow's condo is a self-contained living space with every amenity. Well-placed windows provide excellent cross flow. For me that's important as I generally shy away from air-conditioning. (The condo does have two A/C units.) The overall layout is superb. A west-facing covered deck offers views of the Siskious and spectacular sunsets. There's art on every wall. Even the queen-size bed is perfect. Discerning folks chose Airbnb for a reason. And this one is a class act. Here you'll find comfortable accommodation in a safe, peaceful village.

We had a hiccup in the beginning with accessing the property, but they worked quickly to get us the access code and we were able to get in. Just make sure your text and/or email includes the door code. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay. It was clean and walkable to many shops and restaurants and very close to Mount Shasta and the hikes we wanted to do. The beds were also very comfortable. Thanks for the memories!

Thank you for a great stay at dharma den. So peaceful and well-equipped. The neighbors really helped each other during the heavy snowstorm. Very special place. I look forward to staying again!
