Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sitio de Calahonda

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

On arrival Clotilda showed us around the apartment, and we were really delighted, it was one of the cleanest we have stayed in, and the views from the balcony, and main bedroom are absolutely beautiful. The extensive gardens and pools were pristine, with plenty of seating around, with gorgeous views of the beach and ocean beyond. The property is just a 3 minute or so walk away onto the boardwalk and beach, which suited us as we spent most days on the beach when not sightseeing. Bed linen, towels and throws were all freshly laundered to a really good standard. There were plenty of kitchen utensils should you wish to eat in, although we ate out every evening at the lovely local restaurants, most within easy walking distance. Clotilda was a really thoughtful host who responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our arrival, and during our stay. Thank you.

I would just like to say this place is amazing and juan is an amazing guy. He let us stay because we had a late flight and never asked us for a pen anymore. This has got to be by far the best place. I've stayed there on all my trips around Europe staying at Airbnb's. juan was so helpful given us a device where to eat where to go for Days out his place was so clean fresh and just felt like Home I will be definitely coming back to stay here and I would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking in the coming to this part of Spain to stay at this place my wife and kids after 10 days, don't want to go home all I would like to say to juan yes thank you so much and I loved staying at your place. What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

We recently stayed here as a group of 11 for a hen do. The location was perfect, walking distance to shops, old town etc and a short uber ride to Puerto banus. Villa was very clean and well presented. We used the transfer service which was reasonably priced. We also used the BBQ service which was lovely. Rafael is such a responsive and helpful host and after a missed flight and us not arriving until much later than expected he was so helpful in re arranging our transfers and arranging for us to get into the villa outside of the usual check in time. Thank you Rafael, we highly recommend your villa.

We were lucky enough to spend 4 weeks in Cordula's cozy and practically furnished apartment. Except for the weather, everything was absolutely perfect and we give a 100% recommendation. The warming air conditioning and electric fireplace goods are very helpful in this unusually cold and rainy time.

My wife and I just spent an amazing 15 days at Casa Folimanka. When we arrived tired from an overnight flight, Javier was at the front gate to meet us. He and Lorraine gave us a comprehensive tour of the features of the property. The interior has beautiful floors, flawless tile-work, modern appliances and two sizeable bathrooms each equipped with double vanities and stunning showers along with two fully-equipped bedrooms. The exterior has a spacious yard, great views of the sea and various spaces to lounge, eat and soak up the sun. The property is also very well secured with plentiful activities close by in all directions. The Casa has everything that you could ever need for your holiday, yet it does not feel at all cluttered. The support that we received from Lubomir and team was first rate with quick responses when we couldn’t find things and excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. They really made us feel welcome and special during our stay. 5 stars all around!

Amazing apartment, lovely walk down to the beach and local marina. Very easy to uber around. Very clean, tidy and well presented. The Balcony is big and a great space to chill or work. Can’t recommend enough will be back. Mark

Ignacio warmly welcomed me in front of the accommodation. He showed me everything that is worth knowing. He was available at all times and earlier check-in/later check-out was no problem after consultation. The place is as described in the pictures. I felt very comfortable and safe. The apartment is modern and everything is new. The bed is super comfy. I will miss it. The kitchen is well equipped and a bottle of water is also waiting for you on site. The pool and loungers are clean and well maintained. The beach is of course also just outside the door. Supermarkets are very easy to reach on foot. It is a bit noisy because it is directly on the street, but with the window closed and air conditioning, no problem at all. I enjoyed it very much and would book the accommodation again at any time. The apartment was exactly as described in the pictures. Very stylish and at the same time cozy. Everything you need is there. A special highlight are the two terraces & the fantastic view into the distance. The complex is super clean, well-maintained & quiet. So if you are looking for peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place 👍🏻 Zana was super accessible at all times & was able to help directly with all concerns. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was broken & it was therefore very warm in the apartment. Conclusion: We had a wonderful time & will definitely come back. 😊

Very good location, a few meters from the beach through a pedestrian access. The house had everything you need to spend a few relaxing days both on the beach and in the apartment itself. We went with a dog and the garden is a plus, it also has direct access to the community pool. Lana gave us directions to nearby beaches for dogs that are really good. I recommend it 100%.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely traditional apartment in Marbella. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The outdoor space was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine in the fridge, which was such a thoughtful touch! The only small suggestion would be to add blackout blinds in the bedrooms, or come prepared with an eye mask if you're sensitive to light. Overall, a fantastic stay – we’d definitely come back and highly recommend it!

William’s property was absolutely splendid for all our family The property was very spacious and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday — a well-equipped kitchen, toys for the children, and a generously sized pool suitable for both adults and kids. It’s definitely one of our top ten stays on Airbnb. It truly felt like a home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rafael’s. It was so peaceful and relaxing it was honestly the best part of our Spain trip. We felt like we were home, it had everything we needed and was so comfortable. It was close to other towns, if you wanted to get out and explore. We also really enjoyed the pool. This is our second time staying in one of Carlos’ villas and it will definitely not be our last. The villa is incredible. We were a group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone. All bathrooms were ensuite and the rooms were all great sizes. The house is incredibly well stocked anything at all that you could think of needing it’s there. Carlos is so easy to communicate with and provides great local recommendations. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.

A beautiful home to stay in, we loved every minute. Nathalie was so communicative pre arrival and Norbert was fantastic on arrival. Stunning and peaceful location with sea and mountain view’s but with such easy access to all surrounding areas. We hadn’t realised a cot and high chair would be provided so that was a lovely surprise on arrival for our little one. Our one and only negative would be the pool, we were there in October but the pool wasn’t heated and therefore was very cold. The pool is also salt water so it wasn’t as clean as maybe one would’ve hoped for. All in all, a stunning place to stay and the games room with pool table, table tennis, table football and darts was fantastic. We will be looking to return next year because it is such a lovely home and its location is just gorgeous! Thank you Nathalie and Norbert for a lovely stay.

We had an amazing time, stunning property, fabulous pool. The kitchen has everything you need, plenty of outside space. Secluded garden with a view of the sea in the distance, shops and towns anywhere from 10 -20 minutes away by car. We came to relax and unwind and it was the perfect place for family time. The host Dirk is excellent, helpful, immediate response to any question. The house has everything you need and more. We didn’t want to leave.

Absolutely incredible! The terraces are so private and peaceful and the pool is just perfect. A truly amazing place and I would recommend it to anyone if you’re looking to relax and have an amazing getaway. Loads of great supermarkets and other shops nearby. There is also plenty to do around the area with Malaga, Ronda and Marbella not too far away. Michala was an incredible host - so communicative, responsive and friendly. We really can’t recommend this place enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
