The Biorka Guest House is charming, affordable, and private. It is a short walk to nearby downtown shopping, Sitka National Park, Tlingit totem poles, and salmon-rich Indian River, as well as to the Fine Arts Camp, harbors, and very beautiful hiking trails. The room is excellent for couples & solo adventurers. It has a separate entrance, mountain views, private full bath, TV/DVD player plus videos, and a queen bed. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave & coffee machine.

HarborView Hideaway

Cozy apartment nestled on the top of a three story home in the heart of downtown Sitka. It has two bedrooms each with a queen, and two comfy leather couches (a loveseat and a full size). The kitchen is a half kitchen so there is no stove but it does come equipped with a microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, and tea kettle. Our floor is the next floor down and is not separated by a door but you have total privacy. We have two dogs and a backyard full of chickens, but no animals enter into the rental.

Anchor Bay is a brand new construction just steps from the beach. It features 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen and pantry. There is a new gas grill located outside for grilling. It has a large dining table that seats six and adjoining living room that has an electric fireplace and Samsung frame TV. It has a full size washer and dryer. It is located within walking distance to Totem Park, the Raptor Center, and downtown Sitka, and Harbor Mountain Brewery.

Kasiana Island Cabin sits on the west shore of Kasiana Island, 1 mile southwest of Sitka, Alaska. The cabin was built in 2011. This remote site is generally accessible year-round by boat. It can be accessed by kayak weather permitting. Visitors are responsible for their own travel arrangements, or hire me. Guests are responsible for their own safety, and must bring their own amenities. Water is available by rain barrel, A cooler provided and bbq, bring ice. Waterproof boots are a must!

I can't praise Michael and this location enough. Views are beautiful; perfectly located near town but not buried in the heart of it (though it is hard to not be near Sitka). Nothing beats having a hot tub to relax in overlooking the natural beauty after a day of fishing or hiking. The company was top notch as well. Great conversations were had at the breakfast table as we shared stories and learned about the local area and politics of a small Alaska town. Would happily stay again for the bacon alone!

This is not your average air bnb by any stretch of the imagination. And it certainly would not suit everyone's taste. But it's my all time favorite. Nothing fancy-- quite rustic-- somewhat remote--and it exceeded all expectations. Much has been written about Jim as host and it is all true. He's incredible -- born and raised in Sitka. A true outdoorsman and larger than life in some respects. He was a one stop shop: met us at the airport, helped us shop for groceries (if you forget something you will live without it for awhile), rented us an excellent skiff which allowed us to be mobile for fishing and peace of mind, and even was our fishing guide for a day. Bottom line those 4 days will be some of the most memorable of my life.

This house was perfect for 6 adults! It was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was so convenient.. We were able to walk to some of our tours, which made life easier and we got some exercise. I would recommend this home to anyone while staying in Sitka.

My 3 nights on the Karmon Dee were wonderful. It’s for anyone who wants to experience Sitka boat life. As a 20 year king salmon commercial fisherman, the KD felt homie and comfortable. Given the opportunity, I’d definitely book again.

Apartment was easy to find and right at the heart of this charming little town. Place is larger than it looks in the photos and had everything I needed in my two day visit. Good communication and accommodation for me dropping off my bags early. I’d happily stay again if I come back. Make sure to eat at Wildflower Cafe for breakfast and Beak for dinner.
