Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Skye

This is an absolutely spectacular place in a wonderful secluded area. We loved our stay as a family of five. Incredible views from the living room and deck. Living room looks right out of Dwell complete with comfortable club chairs and sofa, fireplace and wool blankets. The kitchen is modern and stocked with top quality appliances, plates, cutlery and utensils. It takes some time but we loved the wood-fired hot tub. Secluded location but easy drive to many local attractions and hikes. We would 100% stay again and highly recommend to friends. One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in.

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Gregor and his mum Audrey were so kind and helpful, picking me up from the nearby bus stop, and going over the Bothy at check-in. The Bothy is spectacular and perfect for a couple or single with its peaceful grounds, private parking spot and your own fireplace and backyard. While Portree can get busy, this was/ serene oasis just as pictured, where you feel your at your Highlands home whilst in holiday. The furnishings, kitchen and hot shower were just lovely especially after long days of exploration. There’s loads of birds and flowers/greenery on the property. Also Just a short walk to all the restaurants, harbor and co-op. The Scorreybreac trail is steps away and not to missed for a local walk/hike. Thank you sweet Audrey and Gregor! We just returned from an amazing 4-day holiday at Taigh Geal (‘The White House’) with friends, and we can’t wait to go back! The charm of this beautiful home made it feel like a true Highland escape. It was cosy, welcoming, and filled with thoughtful touches. Carole was a fantastic host, offering a generous starter pack and promptly supplying firewood when we needed it. The house was spotless and spacious, featuring four lovely bedrooms that provided comfort and privacy. We loved the little luxuries, like double duvets on the single beds and a crackling stove in the living room, which made for relaxing evenings after our daily adventures. The location was perfect, just outside Broadford—peaceful yet close to shops and restaurants. From coastal walks to ferry trips, everything felt within easy reach. Thank you, Carole, for sharing your beautiful home. We made lifelong memories here and highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a memorable stay on Skye!

Traumhafte Umgebung. Wir haben hier tolle Wanderungen unternommen und haben uns in der Unterkunft wie zu Hause gefühlt. Einzig die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren vor Ort etwas begrenzt. Daher sind wir zum Großeinkauf nach Oban gefahren.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gordon’s home. The setting is beyond beautiful- even better than the pictures. One of our favorite things to do for this trip was just sit on the deck and look at the amazing view. The home exceeded all expectations as well. One of the best AB&B’s!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property on the Isle of Skye. The property is not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is simply amazing. Nestled on the Isle of Skye, we had easy access to breathtaking landscapes, local attractions, and charming restaurants, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique beauty of the area. Property was clean. Hostess provided detailed information prior to our arrival that helped us check in. One of the bathrooms featured a bath instead of a shower. I would definitely visit again.

Hector’s place was very comfortable, easy to access and you couldn’t beat the location. The flat is very spacious with beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Hector was great to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries. The Cafe below is an added bonus.

This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

Perfect cozy apartment. Very clean and has everything you need for a couple nights stay. Wonderful scenery. Good place to start your adventures around scotland, can definitely recommend

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

We had the loveliest time at the cabin. The place was as clean as can be and had everything we needed. The view is phenomenal and there are loads of little birds flying around which makes it even better to just sit back, watch and enjoy. Lindsay thought of literally everything which makes this place a 10/10. Would absolutely come back here!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits à Caol. La cabane de Nicky est charmante et le petit jardin très appréciable avec un chien. Le logement est très propre et très bien équipé, il ne manque de rien !

Sono stata per due notti in questo meraviglioso alloggio , insieme al mio compagno. Un posto meraviglioso, paesaggio che mi rimarrà nel cuore. Consigliato assolutamente a chi cerca la vera pace e tranquillità, relax garantito. Ottima posizione per raggiungere svariati trekking indicati sulla piccola e utilissima guida presente nell’alloggio. Proprietari cordialissimi e sempre disponibili. Se ci dovesse ricapitare, ritorneremo sicuramente.

Our favorite stay during our visit to Scotland! I have (exceptionally) high standards, and Sandra’s place was wonderful. Comfortable, extremely clean, and in a gorgeous setting. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen and living areas were lovely as well. We had stunning sunsets both nights and wished we’d booked it for a few extra days!

We stayed here for 3 night and we really loved the pod. Everything you need is available. The bathroom and kitchen are only a few steps away from de pod.

A truly beautiful and peaceful place amongst the pines. The cabin felt luxurious but totally conscious of its surroundings and impact. Love the ethos of Turadh, helping to rejuvenate others whilst reviving yourself! Communication with the owners was great, checking that everything was fine and we had everything we needed. It was snowing in the mountains but didn't feel cold at all in the cabin - excellent insulation and wood burner ! The weather gods smiled on us but it's the sort of place it doesn't matter if they don't. Lots of walks, both close to the cabin and in and around the soaring peaks - a landscape photographer's dream (the light!). If you want go out and about be aware that early March some cafes / galleries etc are closed and even the open ones tend to be shut Mon / Tue. On the plus side the midgies aren't operating either. All-in-all a great experience with wonderful hosts - would love to visit again.
