Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Smithfield Township

What a beautiful location! We were in town to go to the college’s graduation ceremony and I booked Norma and Wayne’s windy hill lodge. I arrived at 10 PM after a 9 hour trip, but what a comfort it was when I got inside (easy)! It was warm and inviting, lots of snacks and refrigerated items and a “lifesaving” chicken nuggets in the freezer — I was starving and hadn’t eaten since noon! The decor matches my love of horses (I have two rescued thoroughbreds!) the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable (my brother stayed the second night and he said he had a great sleep!) We both got a tour of the barn, admired the fields, and we loved talking to Wayne about how it all “worked”! We wished we had more time to just hang out there, but we had all the family activities one enjoys in Easton during graduation weekends! Thank you for everything!!!

From the moment you start communicating with Vera she lets you know you’re in great hands. She wants your stay to be the best possible. I highly recommend you spend few minutes reading about Vera and her family history. Only then you’ll understand Cozy House was decorated with love, with family in mind. The location couldn’t be better, safe, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, within minutes from all the amenities and lakes. My family and I enjoyed every moment and created lasting memories together!

It was a, nice place, master bed was very comfortable. It was 2 blocks from main strip if restaurants in downtown Stroudsburg. I would definitely recommend this, place.

we went for a quick weekend get away for my husband's birthday. the house was beautiful, spacious and very quiet. We did go to the pool, where everyone was incredibly friendly and the employees at the gate were also very friendly. we went to a beautiful waterfall not too far away. Definitely recommend staying here if you like a mixture of outdoors and socializing!

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

We had a great time at this Poconos Cottage. It was spacious to house 5 guests yet cozy enough to feel like home. Our host, Lana, was quick to reply and offered any assistance as needed. This house was very well kept and our favorite part was the outdoor fire pit. Will definitely be coming back!

I must say, being that it was my first time traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable. I think I found my safe spot to unwind and relax. I love how peaceful and calming my stay was. There are things to do that’s no more than 30 minutes out. Jonathan and his team were very responsive when needed. The unit is exactly as the picture, very clean, appliances are in great condition, it has been maintained very well. I’m definitely coming back!

Jules and Paul have a great place it is very cozy as they describe. Great communication with the host able to be flexible with us. Great gateway spot!

We had comfortable stay. We will book again next time we visit family. I was able to work at the extra table comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed. The rooms were spacious. The views were nice. Although we didn’t utilize it, the walking path was nice option. Also the weather didn’t really cooperate for us to use the out door furniture but it look very nice.

They were not kidding when they named this bambis haven because we were able to get up close and personal with deers all over and even got to get friendly with the homes kitties.

One of the best AirBnbs I’ve stayed at. Peaceful, cozy. Felt like a little “nest” up on the top floor of the building. Everything you need to have a home away from home. Esther was incredibly responsive and gracious. 10/10 recommend!

Chala's place was quiet and comfortable. Had all the amenities you could want. The deck outside was great for relaxing. Recommend to anyone looking to stay in the the Scranton area while being in a safe neighborhood.

Great studio. Perfect for what we needed. I’m from the area originally and it’s a great/safe neighborhood. I had to make last minute arrangements to come to town for my dad’s funeral and we needed to bring our cat. It’s hard to find listings that allow pets so that was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated, clean. The check in/out instructions and rules for the space were all very clear and easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place, clean, nice location, many nice toiletry extras (toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, etc.). Would book again. Only negative was where the parking spot was located, but a very minor inconvenience, and the apt was a little warm even with the A/C on high. Host’s recommendations were also spot on.

My family and I rented Jonathan's place as a long-term rental during ski season. We wanted to be close to Big Boulder given our involvement in the race program and the place could not have been more conveniently located (it was also great being able to walk to Boulder View Tavern for apres ski!). The unit was just like it was described, and Jonathan was always incredibly responsive if we ever needed anything. This place became our "home away from home" for ski season and we were truly sad to pack up on our last day. Highly recommend both this unit and Jonathan (I believe he has other properties) to anyone considering a stay in the Poconos. Fantastic experience and absolutely wonderful host!!

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

We had a pleasant stay at Paul's Airbnb. My wife and I stayed here on a work trip. It had all the amenities to be a home away from home.

Communication was excellent, place was clean, well stocked with everything we needed for a short stay. The lake was pretty, the weather was a tad chilly but view of lake was really nice!

It was the perfect place for a little getaway/ staycation. They gave us some snacks, fresh fruit, water bottles, a bottle of wine, towels for the pool and for the shower, two robes, extra blankets, games, and so much more. They truly made sure every little detail was perfect for our arrival. They also left these sheets of instructions on how to operate the outdoor amenities and the speakers. Super straightforward, easy, and helpful. We had the best time ever!

We had the best time, and this was the absolute perfect spot! Clean, comfortable, perfect location with beautiful views and easy access to the pools and hot tub! Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10 recommend and would visit again!
