If you are fit and looking for basic, off the beaten track, traditional & peaceful with stunning views this will surpass your expectations. Comfy bed, hot shower, forget the hairdryer, cook on the hob or bbq, buy groceries before you arrive, walk to the dairy amidst flower meadows to buy cheese & milk, enjoy cows with bells, marmots, deer, endless butterflies, the mountain views and walks. I loved the swing! Take walking boots, comfy slippers and a good book. I cried when we had to leave, it was just so beautiful.........a real gem. Gianni was kind and friendly and his place had a simple family warmth to it.

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

I had the privilege of staying at this amazing property, an amazing experience. The house is a cozy retreat that makes you feel comfortable, with thoughtful decor that creates a warm atmosphere, inviting you to relax and enjoy your stay. Cleanliness is worth mentioning. Every corner of the house sparkled, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to the hygiene and comfort of guests. It's rare to find such a clean and well-maintained home, making our stay more enjoyable. Finally, the host. Their friendliness and availability were exceptional. Always ready to answer questions, provide helpful tips, and do everything you can to make our stay comfortable. Their hospitality has made our experience special. In conclusion, I can only give this property a 5-star rating. If you're looking for a cozy, clean place with a friendly, helpful host, look no further. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, we only spent 3 nights in this accommodation. We were on our way home from Tuscany. Our stay was far too short. There is so much to do and see in Ticino. The apartment is exactly as described, well equipped and sparkling clean. But especially the warmth and cordiality of Pierangela and Giuliano made us feel right at home. Nice conversations and especially a lot of tips to make our short stay unforgettable. Walk the Salamander route, Lucomagno pass is beautiful to take a walk there too. Next time, we'll definitely stay longer. We recommend this place 110%.

A little gem: the house has everything you need for a perfect vacation, and it's in an idyllic location. Immersed in nature with walks and bike rides just a stone's throw away, while maintaining all the comforts of "home" (super-equipped kitchen, impeccable and hot shower, washing machine and dryer, garden with deckchairs and table, comfortable bed, etc.). Absolutely stunning place! One of those rare cases when the place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Every detail is charming, and we especially loved the honey made by Gloria’s family. The authenticity of the house and its surroundings is perfectly balanced with comfort — you feel both inspired and at home. Palanzo isn’t the easiest place to reach without a car, but Gloria helped us arrange a transfer and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy place. Everything was very clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The location is ideal to explore the beautiful surroundings of Switzerland, and our hosts were warm, helpful and always available. We immediately felt at home and would come back any time. Clear recommendation!
