Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sognefjord

We loved our stay at Siv's house and would definitely stay there again. The views across the fjord were stunning and the peace and privacy were marvellous. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It is a great area to explore. We went across as foot passengers on the small car ferry from the village of Solvorn to Urnes to visit the UNESCO Urnes Stavchurch, went on a walk up to Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and there are some fantastic mountain hikes close by.

We loved the opportunity to stay in an authentic Norwegian cabin that was at least 250 years old. From outside it looks like a modest cabin but opens to a spacious and warm living room and dining area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a good shower. The two upstairs bedrooms, one opens to the kitchen, had great views of the mountains and very comfortable beds. Great venue to visit Flam, Borgund and Urnes Stave churches or to hike. The farmers market at Laerdal was excellent.

Old house with the character of Bergen. Great location, easy walking into centre and restaurants. Good parking for car, all amenities in house you’ll need. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Can highly recommend.

Beautiful stay in a typical Norwegian house, built by the host, with a beautiful view of the fjord. The host was very helpful and friendly, he allowed us to stay in the largest house at the same price perino. Very cozy house and in the morning the host gave us homemade bread. The accommodation is great, beautiful view of the fjord, very comfortable and clean. Our only downside is that we had the children's rooms rather than the adult rooms to sleep in. Thank you Henriette for your hospitality

Our stay was wonderful. The bus system was close by to travel into town, and the view was magical. Everything we needed was provided and felt comfortable like home. If we travel to Bergen again, we will definitely stay again.

This place is extraordinary. We felt right at home at Stina’s house and enjoyed the quiet, beautiful surroundings. Its location makes it great to enjoy both outdoor acitivities and Bergen, since it’s easy to reach by car. We absolutely loved it and it was hard to leave.

A very cozy, well-maintained cabin in a beautiful place. Beautiful view over the lake, close to Voss, hiking possible from the cabin. We were there with New Year's Eve and were treated to a thick pack of snow. The wood-burning stove and other heating provided comfort! Communication with the host was super good. Amenities are well taken care of: a heated bathroom and an extra outdoor toilet, a nice terrace with fire bowl, everything suitable for Norwegian outdoors! To top it all off, you can see the Northern Lights.

Very nice place with all amenities you might need for a long stay (although ours was unfortunately rather short). Cleanliness is the main winning point for us.

The small, remote hut was perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful - lots of nature and a fantastic lake nearby. I felt very comfortable and highly recommend the place.

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

We absolutely loved Anita's place! it was very clean and cozy and the views were incredible! It was a great place for us to unplug and unwind for a few days and enjoy the peaceful nature surroundings. Anita was a great host - very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

The tent is absolutely fantastic. It is clean, well stocked, and absolutely beautiful to stay in. We arrived and Kjetil was there to greet us and shared stories about the history of the land, and his family. He even let us sample some locally brewed beers from a drinking tool that had been in his family for 250 years, as well us supplying us with a bottle of locally brewed beers. Overall, the stay was extremely pleasant and the host equally delightful. Will definitely be recommending.
