Chetan ji is great host and make sure all arrangements are in order. Food is great and gives feel of home food. Thanks to his wife. Location of property is excellent. We enjoyed lot during our stay and highly recommend to others. House is very nicely built to have lot of common areas to sit and enjoy.

Place - There’s a perfect road to the place, you will not have to do any hike to the place which makes it super friendly for elder people, there’s ample parking, the rooms and overall house is very spacious. You have perfect garden where you will find different types of plants including flowering plans and vegetable & fruit plants. For adventurous youth there’s a small pretty hike just behind the house which can be done by people of any age. You can witness amazing sunrise and sunsets just from the balconies along with starry nights. Overall all there’s no downside to this place. Host - Chetan ji is the best host you will ever meet, he will never say no to you for anything and will truly treat you like family. He will guide you for anything or anyplace you want to go, super awesome person you will ever find. He’s a rare gem. Amenities & food: perfect home cooked meals made from ingredients directly from his garden. Everything that is mentioned or you want will be available. Worth it

Host - Rakesh Thakur - A+ The best hospitality you can expect. He made us feel at home, we were with small kids & Elders. stayed for 2 nights. He waited for us till late night to make our check in and went to the main fagu road to receive us at 01Am. Property - A- perfect Homestay - Every thing is appropriate - Absolutely neat and clean. Complete Silence n Serenity. Expect a homestays environment and it's not a hotel, so not at all commercial. Beds were neat n tidy. Bathrooms are fitted with gysers and hot water is available. Towels were washed clean but needed an upgrade though. Food- A+ , Kitchen is clean n maintained with good hygiene. Cook Rana G is just too good, we had Indian Nveg, Veg, everything was delicious. Meals are very nominally charged. location - A, Near Fagu, You have to drive down.a Kms approx on a moderate ramp to reach the property located in the middle of Jungle and Apple Orchids. It's safe and private.. parking is easy. Overall A+, a good pleasant stay without any problem at all, Host Rakesh G stays at property with family on lower floor and takes care of any requirements instantly. Good fixed Wi-Fi connection, phone & 4G coverage apt for Work from Anywhere. Good for long stays. Rooms have TV with Airtel.

The place was amazing. Comfortable and such welcoming hosts. Food was great! would definitely recommend everyone. Naresh Uncle Really knows some amazing offbeat places if you are interested.

Gaurav is very polite, humble and helpful host. He took personal care of everything throughout our stay and responded every time when we were in need of anything. His mother is very humble and welcoming person and took good care of us. Our stay at his resort was very pleasant and enjoyable. Rooms were very big, neat and clean with spacious balcony and romantic view. His staff was also very polite and helpful and provided us good food and good service. The cab driver Shaki provided by Gaurav made our journey very pleasant. Some feed back to Gaurav for making the stairs safe throughout by putting railings on both the sides and providing hot water in bathing area all the time which at present was Luke warm, occasionally hot and that too, not all the time. I hope he will surely do something about it soon. I recommend to stay at Gaurav’s Rudra Resort which needs exact name and location to see online. I thank Gaurav for our pleasant stay in Kasauli.

Anil Ji’s The Peak was an absolute gem of an Airbnb experience! This offbeat retreat was stunningly beautiful, with breathtaking views and a unique vibe that made it feel like a hidden paradise. The food was nothing short of amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. But the true highlight was the host. Their warmth, stories, and genuine passion for sharing their space made every moment special. Interacting with them felt like catching up with a family member or a good old friend. I can’t recommend The Peak enough for anyone seeking a memorable, soulful getaway!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Suresh ji's place — it felt just like visiting a relative in the hills. The hospitality was exceptional. Uncle was always available, attentive to even the smallest details, and made sure we were completely comfortable throughout our stay. The delicious home-cooked food added a special touch and made us feel right at home. The location is serene, with stunning views all around, but what truly sets this place apart are the hosts — their warmth and care make you feel like part of the family. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely beautiful place it's a farm house with flowers fruit trees and serene environment. food was amazing we wanted pure veg and our requirements were taken care of . it's a perfect place for a family stay and activities for kids .

A must visit weekend gateway for people around Chandigarh. The place is really peaceful that u instantly get calm the very moment u enter. Rooms and washrooms are outstandingly clean and spacious. Delicious food is served directly from farm to your table that too in a good quantity. You also find lot of spots to sit back and relax. Caring and helpful host and staff is cherry on the cake.

I'm delighted to share my experience at Walden, prompted by the exceptional hospitality extended by the host and his team during our stay. Nestled a few kilometers into the village, navigating to Walden was a breeze with the guidance provided by Google Maps and the Host. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the pristine layout and decor of the property. A unique contrast of untamed, organic surroundings with neat geometric concrete architecture, each element harmoniously silhouettes the other. Inside, the structures exuded a natural coolness, enhanced by purposefully minimalist design, with artisanal elixirs tucked away everywhere. The absence of clocks and televisions let us embrace a slower, more mindful rhythm dictated by the Sun. We let our Host guide us, and he curated a memorable itinerary to our liking. My 5-year old son, loved every minute of it. We got to dip in a pool, cycle in the farm, ride tractors, try archery, hike a trail, play with animals. Great family time!

It was such an unexpected find! It was quite an experience living at Vartika's place as it was super peaceful, away from the bustling crowd with a super warm family to live next to. Vartika and her family are caring, welcoming and made sure we got everything we needed. They were always responsive. Vartika also gave us the tour of her tree house and it's a stunning property! Might go for that for our next trip to Chail

Vartika's farmhouse is dream come true for nature lovers. It is away from the hustle and bustle of city and served as a perfect place for me on this soul trip. The food is out of this world and Vartika's mom weaves magic using organic vegetables from own farms. It is the tastiest food I have eaten during my homestays. The place is surrounded by mountains and forest. All necessary facilities are available. I used the big verandah for everyday Yoga and played with Chocolate, the cute and friendly husky. The place is great to chill or let your creative faculties function or enjoy leisure walks in the jungle. The drive itself is amazing and I would love to come here again and again. On connectivity, both Airtel and Jio worked very well for me just outside the room with data speed on 8mbps (1Mega Byte PS). I worked when required and had no issues. In the room, jio works ok but not airtel.

Beautiful place right in the middle of acres of farmland. It’s so much better than what I had imagined. The view in the morning is so refreshing. The air around is so pure. The place so far away from traffic. The night was so silent and peaceful. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Being from Bangalore, I get Soo used to all the hustle and the noise. But the truth is sometimes I need an escape. Luckily I found the Living woods on Airbnb. The time I spent was truly amazing. The hosts were really extraordinary and I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in experiencing the higher altitudes of Himachal. I will be back to visit again.

fabulous place with greenery and all amenities along with great food

A great getaway to spend time with your dear ones and NATURE. Getting there will at first appear tricky because all of us rely only on maps and the host will ask you not to follow maps. BELIEVE them and just reach Naina Tikker via maps and further they will closely guide you to the Villa. The villa was as private as it can get amidst nature with all kinds of birds for company. Lucky us the villa next to it was closed and a nearby resort was also closed. The house was spacious and clean. The caretaker Anu is a polite one man army, who took care of everything. Food is simple home cooked with no fringes attached. He can help you in your cooking as well. We brought some goodies for bbq and had a great bbq night under stars. If travel gods permit we would love to go there again.

Great place to spend your precious time planning your endeavors. I am in love with this location and the view is just mind-blowing... I will repeat my stay very soon. Love it just go there without thinking 2nd thought <3 :)

A wonderful experience because of the gorgeous surroundings and truly warm hosts. Set in a beautiful apple orchard with two wonderful machaans where you could spend the entire day. We stayed in an independent cottage that was very well appointed. The food including local delicacies, pahari kadhi and sidu ( stuffed dumplings) was amazing. Vandana and Manoj went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. We would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a quiet time in the mountains.
