Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Solana Beach

This is a great rental for a family. There is plenty of beach equipment as well as equipment for toddlers if needed. Being dog-friendly is a major plus. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which is nice for walking and it is a short drive to restaurants and the beach. We took advantage of the hot tub and the very relaxing back yard.

This property exceeded our expectations. Brian was super communicative when we needed him and we had a wonderful stay. One of our best rentals in the 30+ we've booked.

Stayed here for the Lajolla half marathon with a bunch of girlfriends. Great location! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and the beach. All beds super comfy and the record player was a nice touch of nostalgic fun. Would stay again with a large group to help split up the cost (not cheap) but location is prime.

Brian’s place was a wonderful and serene getaway, walking distance to the beach and with lots of cute restaurants around. We would absolutely stay again!

The property is located near the beach, and our three children were able to walk to the seaside park every day to play, listening to the sound of the waves while watching the sunset. It’s very quiet at night, so the kids could get a good night’s sleep after a full day of fun. It’s also conveniently close to the airport and various theme parks. The house has a garage, making it easy whether you're taking an Uber or renting a car yourself.

We had an exceptional surf weekend at Nicole‘s place in Cardiff. Being able to walk to the beach was heavenly, and using the outside shower after surf sessions made it simple and easy to transition into relaxing chill time at the house and around the fire pit. The beach gear was perfect for those that wanted to relax on the shore, and it was in excellent condition, basically brand new! Nicole was very helpful and responsive, and it was very thoughtful of her to offer us early check-in when she noticed we were driving down from LA. We’ll be back!

We had such a lovely stay at Aaron's place! Exactly what the doctor ordered-peaceful, comfortable and quaint. The garden and yard were especially beautiful and so zen. Ordering food to go, dinners and a glass of wine on the patio were our go-to each night. The weather cooperated, and even our dog appreciated the yard and preferred to be in that beautiful outdoor space. Inside was everything that you may need. Nicely stocked kitchen and comfy beds with good mattresses and crisp linens. Bathrooms are clean-one with a tub and shower, and one with shower only. The main room is not huge, but with the backyard beckoning right outside the door, we didn't feel inclined to spend much time in there. The parking was a little interesting. There is a designated space, but it is down a hill toward the unit and just a little tight. Def not a true "problem" though, just noting. All in all, we loved our stay and that our pooch could join us. Made some great memories. We hope to come back soon!

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

We visited San Diego with our grandson and toured his college prospects. Khwaja’s home was perfectly located! We enjoyed the home, slept well, and were able to easily drive to the various colleges, visit Old Town, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and Coronado Island. Khwaja’s home is quiet, comfortable, and the view from the living room window and the deck is lovely. Khwaja was quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an exceptional experience! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and we had such a peaceful stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Tradition. It is literally 3 minutes away. Perfect location if you're in town for a wedding!

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

This was hands down our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at in San Diego. It was spacious and cozy, clean and secure, cool (They have AC :)) and quaint. It had loads of updated kitchen amenities including a sizable refrigerator, which is hard to find when traveling. The apartment kitchen was honestly amazing. The location is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants in La Mesa. We enjoyed Pink Rose Cafe and Farmer’s Table. There is a wrap around porch which we enjoyed during some of our meal times as well as for setting out our beach items in between trips. This place was the best combination of original charm found in the hardwood floors and crystal door knob alongside modern amenities like the amount of outlets thankfully everywhere we looked. And, I cannot forget to share how comfortable the beds were! Next time we travel back to see family in San Diego we will definitely be coming back here again.

A little piece of beach heaven is how I would describe this place! We came with our two littles .They had toys to use, a crib, a high chair and most of all a safe patio to accommodate our family. The beds were so comfortable which is great since we both have back pain. The front room is large to dance, play and chase kids. The kitchen was easy to use and full size fridge helps! The bathroom was very clean and made us feel comfortable using all the amenities. The whole place was very clean without any dust bunnies hiding out. The patio made us feel secluded in our own little oasis. The lights, fireplace & outdoor speakers made it a magical experience! The Location is at the end of the shopping strip so it was quiet at night. We will be back and plan on using the bikes and the beach amenities that way we can pack less! A home away from home, close to the beach is all we wanted for this first trip as a family to San Clemente. We definitely got more than we asked for! Thank you so much!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was gorgeous—even more spacious than the photos show. It’s much closer to the beach than we expected, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was pure magic. The location is perfect—walking distance to great coffee spots and restaurants. The hosts were fantastic with communication, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

House is excellent and as described in the listing. Chris was willing to listen to my concerns and willing to compromise, was flexible with check in and check out.

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

The airbnb was spotless and Jacqueline was a perfect host. She was very attentive with anything that was needed and check in was a breeze. The location of the airbnb was within perfect distance of everything in San Diego. Honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. If I’m ever in the San Diego area again I would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful! The property is even better in person. The house is set up great has everything you need. The backyard is huge and beautiful. Great space to relax and spend most of your time. Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.
