Had a most lovely time in the cabin. There are a few cabins in the location, all with enough space and spacing to let you feel like you are away from it all. The hot tub was lovely, being able to be accessed directly out the front of the cabin. There was plenty of glassware and other things so that if you wanted to you could use it. We brought our own, but you wouldn't need to. It's a great location, close to the beach and a short 10 to 15 minute drive to other nearby locations with lots of restaurant and food options.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! Vicki and Roger were the so kind and helpful our whole stay, made us feel right at home. It was a an absolute pleasure to stay in your cabin. The scenery and farm friends we loved and the hot tub was a lovely bonus! Everything was clean and we had everything we could need.

We loved our stay! Perfect location for a weekend of wineries and lots of space for babies and dogs to explore. We would love to come back and stay again :)

Our stay at Bella Vista was pure heaven. It’s been 10 days since we left and every day we have reminisced, scrolled through photos and contemplated when we can visit again! My son said today ‘I don’t want to go to school, why can’t we just live at Bella Vista!!’ This place was perfect for a family getaway. It was spacious, luxurious, peaceful and had everything we needed. The view is incredible. We can’t wait to go back.

We stayed here to attend a wedding at Eaglereach. It is remote, but not as hard to get to as we'd feared. The road up is narrow and windy, not as steep as I'd expected and tarred most of the way so quite driveable. The Gallery is one of a number of houses in the Eaglereach precinct, but others are barely visible so it is quite private. The house was comfortable but could be improved with a more up to date kitchen - there is no dishwasher, for example. It was a chilly weekend and I would have appreciated some heating in the bathroom, which is a bit spartan. Also we were surprised there was no doona on the bed and no electric blanket. But the location is what you pay for and it was beautiful and peaceful, and the wallabies do come right up to the back door!

It was a beautiful spacious place for a group of good friends to tour the Hunter region. It was central to most places making it easy to drive everywhere. Dan and Ariane were friendly and accommodating with our needs. A great place to relax!

We stayed at Armando's for the long weekend while visiting family in the Newcastle area. The house is inviting and beautifully furnished, and was perfect for our group (6 adults + a very energetic toddler!). Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and having two full sized bathrooms made our lives so easy. Ducted air con meant the house stayed nice and cosy despite the chilly temperatures outside! The back garden is very serene - we just wished we had more time to enjoy it! Shops nearby meant we could pick up essentials easily, plus grab takeaway if we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this lovely house!

Joe's place was exactly as described - tranquile farm stay with all kinds of wildlife visits! It even had everything for breakfast - bread, eggs, cereals, coffee and fruits! even an avocado!!! we also needed some extra milk and he was able to help with that! thank you Joe - we'll come again!

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

We loved staying at Rod’s place. It was so cute, very tidy and clean, well appointed with comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family or a group of friends with 3 queen size bedrooms a sofa bed and two bathrooms. We appreciated the treats left for us- so thoughtful. The location was handy to everything we needed and we would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Great house to stay in! Very spacious and close to the beach/shops and a short drive from other surrounding beaches and shops. Amazing price for what you get as well. Lovely back yard and easy to get in to.

The house was very clean and fresh, super cozy and homely. Corinne went above and beyond to accommodate us, even down to leaving us groceries that suited our family to make breakfast and snacks. She also gave us a run down of the area and things to do and see. We will definitely aim to stay here next time we’re visiting.

My friends & I booked Jenny’s place last minute solely based on all of her previous reviews and we were not disappointed at all! We got unlucky with some rain on our second day, but upon arrival we enjoyed helping Jenny feed the ducks, chickens & horses. She was an amazing host & left us the yummiest silky chicken eggs. We spoke about her journey in acquiring the many Arabian horses she had on her farm and wished we were able to do the farm tour if weather had permitted. I am definitely looking to come stay here again very soon!

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

Terry’s place was perfect for our Hunter getaway, and Graham went above and beyond as host. Great location for getting around wineries and restaurants, and 3-minute walk to the brewery and pub down the road made for an absolute no-brainer at night. Accomodation is everything you’d need: perfect for a single, or a couple, or adults +kid/s, etc, plenty of space in the large main room with separate kitchen and separate private bathroom/laundry. Cannot recommend this place and Graham highly enough, what a legend! Cheers mate, we’ll see you again.

We spent the weekend in the hunter and this place was the perfect fit for us! Very peaceful, warm in the winter nights , easy check in and a very helpful host throughout. Would recommend it! We also saw kangaroos which was a big plus for me!

The Vintage is a stunning area, the house was beautiful and big and so well laid out. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area and fireplace. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!

Montana house is beautiful - has all the amenities, the views are fantastic, house very tastefully decorated and super cozy (winter when we went). Hosts were very easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend!

Milla’s vineyard was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our girls’ trip! We loved the free bottle of wine, it was such a sweet touch. The beds were super comfy, and the view was simply breathtaking. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer to lounge by the pool. Thanks so much for having us!

Our stay was beautiful and everything was as described. Incredibly comfortable beds with lots of peace and quiet. The added pleasure of seeing and petting the beautiful animals made it an experience not to be found elsewhere. The grounds and house is so well maintained and was perfect for a stay with extended family. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Edwina and her husband were lovely hosts, and Elfin Hill is a great complexthat is well appointed and maintained. We enjoyed our visit.

Bundera Lodge was great for a short holiday getaway. Wonderful views across the valley, peaceful surroundings, and most importantly a great coffee machine :) Tim was really helpful and gave clear instructions. Everything in the lodge was in the right place and was working. The kitchen was well-stocked and had a variety of pots, pans, and appliances for cooking up a feast. Thanks so much!
