The historic Freihof from 1782 is an outstanding example of the rural building culture of the 18th century. The farmhouse, which is under national protection, was extensively renovated in 2022 in accordance with historical preservation standards. Great importance was attached to the preservation of the historical building fabric, while at the same time a contemporary use was made possible. Today, the building houses three independent apartments, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern living comfort.

The place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, as well as business travelers. The apartment has an open living room with a 160 cm double bed, a couch, kitchen and a private bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. 1 parking space is available on our property.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it offers breathtaking views, fresh air and numerous hiking trails right outside the door. The bed is 1.40 x 2 m, and there are more sheets under the bed. The armchairs can be opened. So perfect for reading or even for more sleeping options ( max. 2 children/persons). Optionally, you can book a baby bed for 10 CHF.

Forget your worries in our spacious and serene space. Our large guest house can accommodate up to six people in two large rooms. A large open kitchen, a cozy sitting area, two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub) and a balcony are at your disposal. On request we can prepare breakfast or dinner for you. The Schartenhof is located in a small valley basin directly below the Gempenturm.

Sauna kann auf Anfrage benutzt werden (Fr. 15.-), im Carport ist eine Aufladestation, die auf Anfrage genutzt werden kann (Fr. 10.-/Nacht).
