Urnes Gard - Quirky cottage

The kitchen is a cosy, small cottage that is best suited for couples, possibly with young children. It has its own patio with a screened terrace on one side and a small lawn on the other side. From the cabin you can see a mountain and fjord through a garden tunnel with operating buildings, but you don't need to go that far to get all the views you want! Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

The guest house is in our back yard, with high grade of privacy and beautiful view to the the fiord and the mountains. The guests are parking in our private driveway. Linen and towels are included, in the price, and the bed is made up. The guests also have a washing machine. The guests are cleaning the guest house after the house rules when leaving.

The smia is newly renovated and is located right by the sea with a large veranda and outdoor wood-fired sauna with panoramic glass. Possibility to rent a boat. 6 km from a staffed/self-service grocery store with opening hours 7-23. Many nice hiking opportunities nearby.
