Plenty of wine estates for tasting /meals (Lourensford & Vergelegen only 5 minutes away). Many hiking trails & MTB trails within walking/cycling distance. Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!

This guest suite is set on a working wine farm in the winelands between Somerset West and the historic town Stellenbosch. It is situated in what used to be the stables and has since been converted to a tasting room and guest suite. The suite consists of a big, airy room, a separate kitchenette and a bathroom. It has its own front porch with a view over the farmstead and it is adjacent to a chicken coop.

Our place is a split-level studio apartment with private entrance, patio and a small balcony with a limited sea view. The apartment consists of a spacious lounge with kitchenette containing a microwave, airfryer, 2 plate electrical stove and fridge. There is a downstairs bathroom and the bedroom is upstairs. The studio is in a secure neighborhood, 100 meters from the beautiful Strand beach.

This single studio is the ideal place for professional or solo travelers with everything they need for a short stay. The studio is in Somerset West. If you're in the area and need a comfortable place to stay without driving back to Cape Town this room will suit you. We have backup batteries to ensure you have consistent WiFi and lights available during load shedding.
