Pippin - Peaceful Scottish Cottages & Hot Tub

TinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An absolute stunning break, our third time here. A quiet, comfortable home and a spectacular garden space for my autistic son to be himself, and my 3 Chihuahuas felt like they were in heaven. The hot tub was well used, even my elderly mum had a go. We had some lovely visits to the surrounding areas but mostly enjoyed the rest and relaxation that we all needed. We can’t wait to come back again.

Dog friendly, Country cottage with Hot tub

BettyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

We had a wonderful stay with my family at this historic cottage. Especially loved the easy access to the Fife Coastal Path that we walked daily into Burntisland or Aberdour. Excellent hosts as well. Thank you for your hospitality, we would highly recommend this property!

2 bedroom renovated barn with sea views

ElaineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
David’s place is breathtaking! The views from every room are stunning. It’s out of the way up a farm track. It’s very comfy and super clean. Thats the upside of the “no dogs upstairs” policy , which is in place. It’s a place which will remain in your memory forever…. West Kilbride town is also a joy. The artsy side of Scotlands’ Craft Town, the fabulous red coffee shop, the Kandy bar bakers, Climies butchers and the greengrocers shop, all on the main street… makes you feel like you’ve stepped back to a time pre supermarkets. The town park is fabulous. You can walk from the town all the way down to Seamills beach, walk along the beach and then cut back up to the main Street where The Barony Arts Centre and cafe is also well worth a visit. All in all a wonderful place to be. An exceptional air bnb in a great little corner of the country. Loved it.

Estate cottage in extensive gardens.

AlasdairRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very handy as an overnight halfway stop to and from the Highlands. Only a few mins from the motorway but lovely and quiet. Good garden for the dog. Karen conveniently close to the property and very helpful (she provided personalised dog treats and poo bags). I do like the amusing helpful messages she leaves around the property, not least the one referring to the secret cutlery drawer in the dishwasher. Lastly, my son left a phone charger in the property which she very kindly posted up to us extremely promptly.

Brilliant, private, quiet location. ideal for walkers or for gold panning in the Mennock pass. Has all the necessary facilities you may need and the 'welcome' pack came in very useful. Dog friendly. We intend to visit again when we can free up a long weekend. Very enjoyable. Linda made sure we we arrived and had everything we needed advising where the nearest shop and pub were. ***** highly reccomended.

Fencefoot Farm

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our second stay at Bernard's place and it was just as we remembered. It is spacious, comfortable, practical, and in a great location. Our dogs had plenty of space in the secure private garden. We have enjoyed both stays very much as we have found it a very relaxing place to stay. We can also highly recommend the meals at The Catch at Find restaurant where we have always had a first class meal. Richard & Sharon

Burnbrae Byre

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just returned from a lovely week in Burnbrae Byre. Alison and Andrew were extremely friendly and very approachable. The cottage was in very pleasant and quiet surroundings with the only noise being from the birds and the occasional 'moo' from the cows in the adjacent fields. The cleanliness of the cottage was outstanding and everything needed was there. Our dogs loved running in the garden and enjoyed a paddle in the byre. We would definitely recommend the property and return if we are in the area again.

No 1 Ramageton Cottage at Carnell Estates

FionaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage in a quite private area. very homely and had everything we needed and more, even bread, butter and milk. Had prime etc. so plenty to watch on TV. Highly recommended if taking dogs on holiday as we were able to walk round the estate/paths and fields with no livestock so the dogs loved it, they appeared relaxed in the cottage and even had treats, towels and a bed left. They were able to be let out in an enclosed garden. Host was easily contactable with any questions and went above and beyond. although we did not take a third dog, when asked the day prior arrival if we could add a dog, there was no issues. I also left clothing which the host posted to my home address which was above and beyond given the inconvenience it would take to post this. The area is ideal as close to Troon (best fish and chips) , Kmarnock, Ayr and Dunfries house, so plenty to do, particularly with the dogs. I will defo stay again, in fact I just did not want to leave.

Fabulous accommodation. Clean, comfortable and with thoughtful extras such as bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, breakfast cereals and other provisions. Every facility you could need was provided. The cottage is ideally placed for the High Street, but in a quiet, secluded location. A reserved parking space is the icing on the cake.

Levanburn Cottage - IN00036F

HeikoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The best experience we ever had when booking an AirBnB. Caroline and Stephen were such fantastic hosts, the cottage was so cozy and comfortable, Caroline had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. When we arrived, she offered us breakfast hamper full of delicious things, fresh bread, croissants, pains au chocolates, fresh berries etc. That was the perfect fit for a cottage breakfast. Definitely a place to recommend and to come back! Thank you so much - it was great to stay here!

Blackside Cottage in stunning Ayrshire countryside

ChristopherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Blackside Cottage and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention Andrew and Elizabeth put into making the place welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The cottage itself is immaculate – stylishly decorated, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was a real highlight – far better stocked than most places we’ve stayed – and the log-burning fire made our evenings incredibly relaxing. The setting is just magical. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning countryside, it was the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The freestanding bath was a real luxury – perfect for a long soak after a day of exploring. Andrew and Elizabeth were brilliant hosts. Everything was smooth from booking to check-out. This place is a real gem!

The Cart Shed

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved it here. So quiet and pretty. This has clearly been a passion project for Amanda with the attention to detail second-to-none. From the fresh peonies, to the home made cake (which I must ask for the recipe for), to the complimentary toiletries, jar of sweets, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, olive oil, games toys, books - I could go on and on about all of the little things that were there to greet us. We have not stayed in such a well equipped Airbnb before to-be-honest. The Cart Shed was so comfortable and nicely decorated/finished that even after a v long journey, we were immediately able to relax. Absolutely loved it. We were visiting family nearby and this is definitely going to be our future base. When I think about it, even if we didn't have family near by, we would happily go there again, just to relax in the cottage. :-) Looking forward to our next trip immensely. :-)
