The entire property is available for you! Note: In the high season June - August, the minimum rent is for 6 people or price equivalent.

Barkestad has a good harbor with a lively fishing village, and fishing has long been an important industry in the area. It is possible to fish both from land and boat. You can get to the island by speedboat from Myre or Skjellfjorden - or your own/rented boat if you have this available.

The holiday home has: • Livingroom, kitchen and bathroom/toilet on the main floor. • The bedrooms are on the first floor with sloped loft and low doors. • Can accommodate up to 8 persons in two bedrooms and one loftroom. • The house is fully equipped for all housekeeping needs including Restored 2012. The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.
