The house, at the end of a private driveway of 150 m, is 1 km from Lac de l 'Escourou, ideal for walking, and 2 km from the bastide d' Eymet, bringing together shops and many restaurants.

A Little Luxury Home in the Center of Eymet

Bienvenue chez nous. Gîte Castellaneta is over 500 years old but has been remodeled many times since it was first built. We just did it again in 2019! It's a cute little medieval 2 bedroom house. The master has a king bed and the front bedroom has 2 twins which can be reconfigured as a super king. Both have new en-suite bathrooms and the downstairs has been completely remodeled with kitchen, dining & sitting areas plus a WC and washer. And there's a lovely, intimate private courtyard.

You will live in a tiny house in the countryside, perfect for a stop in the Dordogne. Located 5 minutes drive from the pretty medieval and lively village of Eymet with its restaurants, bars, shops, market and entertainment in summer. The cabin is also a 10-minute walk from Lake Lescouroux and will be convenient for visiting the vineyards of Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pecharmant... 30 min from Bergerac and its airport, 1h30 from Bordeaux and Sarlat and 2h from the Bassin d 'Arcachon.

A beautiful private swimming pool, heated from May to September, awaits you, out of sight, with its equipped relaxation areas. Our house is adjacent to the gîte. Discover châteaux, bastides and local farmers' markets.

This charming little traditional stone house is very cosy, comfortable while being sober and ecological in the same time. I am happy to share it with travelers who appreciate simplicity and proximity to nature. The house is equipped with a very good wood stove, with exposed beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floor. The house is hot and cosy in winter, and cool in summer (Possibility to pick you up at the train station or airport for small extra fees)
