'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

Sunna and Grandpa's Log Cabin_Sun

Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of those who stay can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. If you comfortably sit on the deck or the window that the sun is proud of, you can enjoy the dance of the clouds and the wind spreading over Mt. Gongja and the sky above it. The sound of birds and grass bugs moving around, and the sound of the stream across the street that you can hear if you listen carefully will comfort your heart.

Enjoy a complete rest in a stylish accommodation surrounded by nature reminiscent of Zalsburg. Only one team per day can enjoy the beautiful scenery and gardens. It is located in the old Haenggungter with a beautiful garden view with two ponds in front and Wibongsan in the back. Wibongsa, Wibongsanseong, and Wibong Falls are within 10 minutes on foot, and there are many places to enjoy and see, including a fantastic drive course. You can use the outdoor barbecue facilities. The cost of using charcoal and grill is 20,000 won. (If the water outside is frozen in winter and it is difficult to clean the grill, it may be difficult to barbecue.) This is a rural house in the mountains near the industrial city of Wonju. It's a great place for families to stay together and relax. ^^ There is a wide living room on the first floor and a window with a night sky in the attic on the second floor.
