Great stay, nicely renovated place. Quiet street, nice neighbourhood, kids biked to the park just down the street daily. pool was amazing, linens, pillows, beds super clean and comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Felt at home

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

The house was very beautiful and the environment very quiet. Everything is well equipped and well appointed. The only small thing that displeased us a little was that there was hair in one of the beds when we arrived. The dishes were also sometimes dirty, but I think it's the responsibility of the former tenants. The location is great, close to amenities.

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The backyard is absolutely beautiful and we took advantage of the pool and outdoor fireplace! The indoor space is great, loved the kitchen and all the nooks perfect for reading! If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat, highly recommend!

our stay was amazing. just so beautiful and lived in. Khando was very patient and helpful. unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency. we will however be back . we loved the recorded player. Dance party with the Bee Gees. lol thank you so much for the memories.

We had a great graduation weekend, an easy route from Clarkson University. The house was well appointed. Everything was clean and bright. Quiet well kept neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the house was very welcoming. Mary was very responsive and gave several recommendations for local eateries. It was a nice, hectic, quick weekend. Having a comfortable place to relax after a 6 hour ride and a busy graduation day was appreciated.

We stayed at Chris’s place for my brother’s wedding at Bean Town Ranch, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property is absolutely stunning — right on the riverfront, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. It was the ideal setting for such a special weekend. Chris was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We really appreciated being allowed to check in early, as we had to be at the rehearsal by 4pm. That flexibility made a big difference during a busy day. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you again, Chris, for making our stay so smooth and memorable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

This place was a safe heaven. The scenery in the backyard was beautiful and peaceful. The host was very communicative and made us feel like home. If i could give more than 5 stars i would.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay - far exceeded our expectations! Felt right at home, everything we needed to prep food was there. Beautiful house & lakefront that the dogs loved swimming in. Would recommend. We have family near the area so we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage! The place is even more beautiful than in the photos — clean, well-equipped, warm and perfect for a family weekend. The chalet is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Our host was very welcoming, attentive and quick to answer all our questions. Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

This was a great stay for us, especially at the price. The house was very clean upon arrival and Brad was super responsive when we needed him! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the Cornwall area!

Wow!! We had an outstanding time at Dan’s cottage and were blown away by the place. It is very close to the water and has the perfect cottage feel while also being incredibly clean and cozy. The couch space was absolutely perfect for our large group to relax and chat or play games in the center area. The rooms, kitchen, and rooms were all lovely and fully set up. We were especially impressed by the amount of dishes/ tools the kitchen had that made all types of cooking so easy. Not to mention the very spacious fridge and additional bar fridge. The hot tub was lovely and we took advantage of the kayaks, paddle boats, and canoe. Dan was very responsive and any questions we had he happily helped with- though we didn’t have many since all instructions/ tips were thorough and clear. If you are looking for the perfect mix of luxury and all the activities and ambiance you could hope for in a cottage- this is the place!

The house was beautiful. It is under construction, but, that did not hinder our usage at all. Don’t let that keep you from enjoying this beautiful home. It was quiet, and extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels and amenities. Our family really enjoyed your stay.

The host wrote to us at the time of booking to make sure of our needs, and took the time to chat with us when we arrived. Also, she spoke our language, which was very refreshing. We highly recommend.

Great stay at Chantal’s cottage. This is such a family friendly cottage. Everything you need and more. Tons of games for the kids. The cottage is very clean and the kitchen has everything you’ll need. We had a great weekend stay for our mothers and daughters weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our girls weekend. We highly recommend especially for families.

Hello, This was our home for approximately 5 weeks. From the moment we got there, we were received like family. Sarah and Mike were very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. I would highly recommend this home for either short term or long term. Gee was a wonderful host! Her home was very inviting, hospitable and very well kept. We felt right at home. The location was easily accessible to shopping and amenities and not too far from downtown Ottawa. Given our very late arrival, Gee ensured that we had some starter items like water and snacks which was much appreciated after a long day of flying. I would certainly recommend as well as book again. It is obvious why Gee is a super host.
