The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Twiggy

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Taigh Flòraidh “Flora's house”

This unique place has a style all its own. Newly renovated to a very high standard, this chalet offers high end accommodation in one of the most picturesque villages, North Glendale on South Uist. It is fifty metres away from the sea to the front of the chalet, 50 metres away from a fresh water fishing loch where you can catch brown trout for your dinner. The wild life is abundant, golden eagles, sea eagles, hen harriers and many more wild birds can be see from your doorstep.

Croisgeir Self Catering Pod

A self catering pod in a quiet area, five minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach on the west coast of South Uist. Close to the renowned golf course designed by the old Tom Morris. Great for local Trout, Salmon & Sea Trout fishing and a great base for those who like hillwalking. Listen to the corncrake call from the outside picnic bench. Bicycles can be stored in the shed. There are our sheep to see along with the chicken and the resident dogs Ben and Lewis who love walking down to the beach with you. The caravan is well located is between the hebridean way and the arterial road, with plenty parking space behind it
