Southend, Mull of Kintyre, Campbeltown

IsabelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay! The pictures don’t do justice how spacious and lovely the place is- both indoors and outdoors. We spent most of our time in the little conservatory space, as it was the brightest room and you could see the sea in the distance. Overall the place is very thoughtfully set up, and so beautiful! There were a few board games, great books, binoculars to watch birds, and enough firewood for a night! They also provided tourist maps of the region that were super cute and helpful. It’s isolated so you need to drive to Campbeltown to get any supplies (like more firewood like we did!) but it’s quite close by so easy enough. Truly a special spot! We could have stayed for weeks.

Ashcraig, Lochranza, Isle of Arran

The Appartement exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous view over the loch and we enjoyed every minute. Red deer greeted us every morning on the way down to the parking place. The walk to the apartment is part of the journey. Special thanks to Ed for the hospitality and his tips to explore the area.

The Loft at Druim, Rathlin Island

A really wonderful studio to feel good and relax in. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything is clean and tidy. We were allowed to use the bicycles and were able to explore the island very well. Una and Steward are very attentive hosts, always approachable and helpful. Hope we'll come back!

Ballintoy View Cottage with spectacular views

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the World. Great views from the bedroom windows overlooking the fields to the sea. The Cottage was warm, cosy and welcoming (especially in the cold wet weather we had when we visited!) and was perfect for a family of five adults. Loved seeing the donkey in the field next door. Loved even more that Mairead had kindly left tea, coffee, milk and sugar as well as a lovely gift basket too. It was truly appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Harbourview cottage

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Apart from the rain on arrival, we had a lovely stay. The view of Rathlin Island, and the southern coasts of Scotland (from Islay round to Arran, including the Mull of Kintyre) were splendid, and we had one gorgeous sunset. The view is only surpassed by that from the Carrrick-a-Rede rope bridge view point ( beyond the turn for the rope bridge). Ballintoy Harbour is separate from Ballintoy, and very peaceful - Harbour View is spacious, comfortable and well appointed, though the kitchen space is a little cramped.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you Katie and Howard for providing a lovely place to stay, again. We love its counter-intuitive brilliance - small, but everything's there (including the most comfortable, enormous bed); nestled beside a huge (ex)church and trees, yet with a beautiful view of the sea; pared-down fixtures and fittings, but all generally top quality (plus fresh flowers!). Truly, The Vestry is a place where 'Less is More'.

The Burrow at No. 84

Incredible stay, this has been our absolute favorite AirBnb. It was private, the sheep were right at the fence line every day. The hot tub was perfect. And Jennifer’s recommendations for food were spot on. This was the perfect setting to order takeout and relax at the AirBnb given the hot tub and incredible scenery. And the place was so comfortable and extremely clean and accommodating. Jennifer’s snacks and goodies were also on point- HIGHLY recommend!
