The place was peaceful and felt just like home. I was very comfortable and slept well!! I’d been travelling for a while and this was the perfect spot to spent a week recouping and working remotely. Very quaint and cosy place to stay. Peaceful location with great views. Stairs to loft was quite precarious and would HIGHLY recommend a railing of some sort be placed as getting up and down was not ideal or easy due to sheer steap incline. Even our 8 yr old had difficulty going up and down. Bags ended up staying on the ground floor as getting them up was not possible without assistance

A true gem in the bushveld. One of the most beautifully decorated places I have ever stayed. Everything you need was there. Wood available on site, breakfast available on request in the most tranqual setting. The 2 braai areas was well utilized. We loved the big chess board. We did not use the pool as we visited in winter. But for sure, u cant go wrong by booking here!

We escaped the city for Rose Cottage early on in our holiday, I was in need of the quiet serenity of the suburbs and Anthea’s home met all my needs and expectations. A slice of heaven in leafy floral Bischopscourt - just off from the Botanicsl Gardens. The perfect peaceful home to get away from the hustle and bustle, gorgeous pool area - and we LOVED Jordy the little dog coming to see us on a morning. We felt totally at home. Thank you so much Kobus -- this cottage was the perfect end to our trip. Kobus was accommodating and friendly, allowing us to book on very short notice and check-out later due to my online work commitments. The environment is so peaceful, the space is romantic and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Will definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Mountain House. You will not regret booking it! Peaceful and tranquil while still being close to restaurants and shopping at Kalk Bay. Hiking literally on your doorstep and Fishhoek and Muizenburg beaches easily accessible. The views are amazing and the hot tub is something special. The kind of place you never want to leave. Carin and Miles are excellent hosts. We hope to be back soon.

Great stay! The weather was absolutely freezing, but the hosts provided an additional heater that made a huge difference. Very peaceful, comfy bed...very comfortable for my young daughter and myself. If the weather would have been warmer, the pool would have been lovely! There are a couple of fantastic local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, which were really nice.

The stay at Kliprivier Cottage was perfect, from the drive to the Cottage, the farm and the property itself. Everything that was needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay was included and we had no reason to leave once checked in. It was such a pity that we couldn't make use of the kayak but we will definitely be using it the next time we visit. The stay provided a great getaway, a home away from home and we will sure be back soon.

No complaints Definitely recommend this stay! My family and I needed a last minute booking & Madeleine responded very quickly and efficiently. Very communicative and accommodating host. The cottage itself is exactly as show in photos & stocked with everything you will need. Very comfortable, perfectly clean, safe and secure. My kiddos appreciated the mini picnic table and children’s dish-ware. Great for short term or longer term stay.
