Nice house in a good location to see the archipelago and day trip to Turku. Everything was clean. Good mattresses. Easy communication.

We had a great time in Taikasaari for a summer weekend, ☀️ the destination fully matched its description and everything went smoothly. Communication with Siina went well, she was kind and understanding, even though we had a little adjustment and hassle on the guest side 😅

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa in Finland! The location was breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and serene lakes. The villa itself was immaculate, with modern amenities and charming decor that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the hot tub, offering a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. We also enjoyed using the rowboat to paddle around the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great tips about local attractions and activities. Whether it was relaxing in the sauna or enjoying the view from the terrace, every moment was a delight. We had a quiet and relaxing time at the house. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our travel date, as it thawed heavily shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a rather demanding journey over heavily icy forest roads. With four-wheel drive, no problem and on site you could do well with spikes. But you think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, that was no longer an issue, mind you with four-wheel drive! The house is quietly located directly on the lake. If you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and took a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around it 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋

Very spectacular nature and location, very helpful and communicative host David. Traditional Finnish cottage with sauna and gas grill, which is very convenient. Showering is in sauna, classical shower would be more convenient, but it’s promised to be installed later. Very cosy main house and guest house. Convenient boat house and pontoon. Definitely will visit more!

Gorgeous place, isolated spot but still in walking distance of bus to get to city. Cabin has everything you need. Will defo be back!

Eija was a tremendous host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were warmly welcomed curbside by Eija upon our arrival, where she provided us with detailed instructions on how/where to park the car. The building and surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures, which we didn't think would be possible. Eija explained all the aspects of the loft and showed us where to find maps, guides, and other useful information to make our stay more enjoyable. The loft was exactly as described and sparkling clean! The kitchen appliances, dishes, and other tools are all very high quality, and the washer and dryer worked well and were easy to use. Excellent Wifi and TV. Electric blinds will keep things dark during the bright Finnish summer, and there are plenty of linens and towels. Eija is very kind and responsive. We visit Tampere often and look forward to staying in Eija's loft again. Thank you for such a lovely experience! l

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the scenery. Can't wait to visit again!

Lovely condo and area to stay. The condo was perfect for a week of relaxing and visiting the Christmas market. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and the sauna was so nice! Great trail just outside to run or walk. Grocery store and gym within walking distance across the street. It's easy to grab a Bolt into old town (20 min drive) to explore the city. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

The destination exceeded our expectations many times over and we had a great time! All the details were thought out and nothing was left to chance. Easy and clear instructions were found for everything in the cottage. The cottage was really comfortable, with all the comforts inside, including air heat pumps. It was easy to enjoy the outdoors on the magnificent terrace, which opened up to a stunning sea view. The sun loungers on the terrace were our absolute favorite! 😊 The terrace also had a hot tub, which was great to relax in both during the day and in the evening. The most memorable was the feeling of luxury, which made me forget the worries of everyday life. In a peaceful environment, the mind rested and recovered. Lasse was an excellent host who made sure we had everything well. I'm sure we'll be back! 😊

We had a wonderful stay, the location is very beautiful with rocky scenery and a small sand beach, and very easily accessible by car from Helsinki. The cottage had everything we needed, we really enjoyed our time there!

I loved the place! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

His welcoming attitude made us feel completely at home, which meant so much to us on such a special day. The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy, surrounded by peaceful nature—a wonderful setting for creating unforgettable memories. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared.
