A paradise on earth inside the forest with sheep and a separate sauna house! Super beautiful and private place to get away from the city noise!

The cottage was cozy and in a good location. Suitable for privacy, but also close to services. The beach was right next door, so you could get there quickly. The cottage was well equipped. In particular, cooking was easy, and there was a good setting for grilling in the yard. The host provided good instructions, and they always responded quickly. I'd love to come back to this place.

Incredible lakeside lodge just an hour's drive from Helsinki is a dream. Had a hire car and the place was easy to find — stunning views, top-notch facilities, and so peaceful. It tempted four slightly mad Brits to dive into the lake and hit the sauna — pure Finnish therapy! Markus is a fantastic host, offering not just a beautiful place to stay but also helped with local info.

Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

It is a beautiful house, in the middle of wonderful nature. Everything was perfect!

We were in Sysmä for the third time, but this was our first visit in the summer. The courtyard was summery and beautiful and we had a great time as before.

The apartment was neat and cozy, with beautiful surroundings. We appreciated the host’s thoughtful preparation of an extra mattress and a travel bed for our baby, which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay.

Since we had a late arrival, the key was deposited and an extra video was shot so that we could find everything. Thanks for that. The apartment is equipped with everything needed. The location is very quiet. Optimal for us.

It is a perfect location, a beautiful apartment with large spaces, appropriate facilities, gorgeous views from balcony, and the sauna was a perfect addition.

Great location, place and communication by host. Veiko met me onsite for checkin! The building is rustic but no lifts. So be mindful of stairs or those with heaps of luggage! Very central to old town and tram, close to cruise terminal too, 15 min walk to everything. if you like coffee there is a cafe called rocket coffee nearby, they are great! Fins be careful, the sauna only goes to 60 degree on max. But is well worth it!

Charming stay with us in Sanna's summer dream, by the Tuusulanjärvi art route! Sanna is a fluent, friendly and interactive hostess. All communication with Sanna before and during the stay was pleasant and smooth. He was also nice and flexible with schedules. We especially enjoyed the luxurious tree sauna, the cozy & beautiful yard with pergolas, and the bicycles that were available throughout the stay. It was wonderful to get to ride in the summer weather on the nearby Tuusulanjärvi cultural route from Ainola to Halosenniemi in an idyllic rural landscape! The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was comfortably equipped with dishes for two-person meals and a refrigerator for storing food. Summer cooking was well taken care of with the barbecue on the cottage terrace. We highly recommend Sanna's accommodation to others interested in the atmosphere of Tuusulanjärvi and the scenery of the Järvenpää coastal road!

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

Absolutely wonderful ensemble! Cabin life felt easy and effortless, even though all the amenities are not there, because the functionality of things has been carefully thought out. All buildings have a beautiful, peaceful interior. The sauna heats up quickly and the steam is really hot! With the help of mobile data from my own phone, I was able to watch movies on a large TV screen and do remote work on a rainy day. We would love to come back!

The feeling is 5/5! Although the Finnish summer was not at its best when we arrived, the sauna and grill warmed up, the children enjoyed themselves and so did the adults. Children swim despite the rain and adults enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. The framework is extremely good. Nothing negative to say! ❤️

Lovely little cottage! You can relax in the nature and the beach sauna had good steam baths :) Anja was also a very nice and flexible host. It would be nice to come back here again!
