Beachfront holiday rentals in Southwest Rural District

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

Karen and Dave’s place was even better in person than in the photos! The decor was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The beds were comfortable and it was inconvenient that each bedroom had its own dedicated bathroom. The location was perfect, very walkable. We will definitely be back!

This was a trip to celebrate my husband’s 82nd birthday. To our surprise when we got there was a box with two beautiful cupcakes and a Happy Birthday message! What an awesome welcome! The home was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. We had lots of privacy in a lot of space to move around. Everything was sparkling clean with most everything that would be needed. Virginia was very responsive to any of our questions, which was greatly appreciated. I got up very early every morning to watch the stunning sunrise over the ocean and to watch the fishing boats leave for the day. Because each of us use canes, it was not possible to walk down over the lawn to the water, but we enjoyed the views. If this home is still available next year, we would love to come back for a longer period of time. Thank you Virginia for making my husband’s birthday very special!

Amazing place to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the water and wildlife. Neil was a superb host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome . The place was more beautiful than the pictures and the view and sunsets amazing ! Our golden Luna loved the daily walks down for the bay and spent hours in the water . We will definitely be back ! Thanks again Neil and Debby for being the most superb hosts !

The stay at the cottage was great. My family used it as a base for exploration and fishing. The house had all we needed and more. There are a lot of historical displays in the cottage to capture the region over the years. My husband's family is from the area, and we greatly appreciated the small features that made him feel at home. We could stay in the yard to enjoy whales, pods of porpoises, seals, and eagles. Most interesting was the eagle that ate his breakfast on the tree in the yard. The screen-in room off the master bedroom is fantastic and I will have one made for my home now. It is wonderful to be outside but not-really-outside when there are too many bugs at dusk. Thank you, Dennis, for having us.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend with a few friends! Right from the start we were made to feel welcome with a welcome basket with everything we needed for smores including fire starters and sticks in addition to nice handwritten note. We all loved the cottage inside with more than enough room for both kids and adults to relax or play games, sleep and eat supper. Outside was also great with the bbq, fire pit, propane fire table, especially at night with the amazing stars!), yard games and of course the beautiful lake especially with the leaves at this time of year! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and a little swimming repeatedly including the last morning after the hosts graciously allowed us to check out a couple hour later! We, especially the kids, also enjoyed the visits from a very friendly pug the hosts had told us would likely drop by. All in all I highly recommend staying at Shore Thing Cottage! We will definitely consider coming back!

We loved our time at the Artists Cabin! It was very private with a great beach and spectacular views. Krista and Jordy were very communicative and responded quickly to all our questions. We hope to return soon!

Vince's cabin is the ideal retreat! Nestled in a secluded spot, it's just a short walk down a wooded path to the beach. The backyard features a deck overlooking a fire pit, perfect for evening bonfires; Vince thoughtfully provided kindling and firewood. Inside, the cabin has a warm and inviting feel. My daughter described it as "cozy rustic." The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings ensured I slept wonderfully both nights. Vince has thought of everything you might need during your stay, even a spare toothbrush in case, like one of my children, you forget yours. Vince also went the extra mile by providing breakfast for the first morning, a lovely touch. The internet connection was reliable, and I appreciated the convenience of the washer and dryer. The clawfoot bathtub was perfect for a long, relaxing soak. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return if it's available. Vince was prompt in responding to texts and a gracious host. I wholeheartedly recommend

Karen and Ben were the best hosts ever. They put so much care and attention to the little things that make a place feel like home. From the spare toothbrush and Ziploc bags to the tackle and rods. What was even more amazing was their rescue without hesitation. We were stranded in Fredericton with a flat and they not only picked us up that night but brought us around and back to town in the morning for our repairs. Gracious, caring, proactive and authentic are but a few words that can describe the hosts and lake house. Thank you for making us feel like we were staying with family.

Sooooo beautiful. Zoltan and Laura are naturally warm-hearted and welcoming. They are a perfect balance of being responsive and proactive, without being intrusive. And YES there are roosters, and YES there are piggies, but that is the joy of a working farm. I was lucky enough to be there during the launch of their micro-brewery's summer beers ( @wearemothermushroom ), and had a delicious IPA and light Stout along with a great plate of fish and frings at The Porch. SO much to see and do; around every bend is another breathtaking beach to sit and, or cycle to, or paddle by. All to come home to smiles, and cock-a-doodle dos. We are going back labour day weekend! So glad to connect and become friends with Laura and Zoltan.

Perfect getaway-Campobello is a low key, quiet place-not a lot of eateries, but I know the area and didn’t expect that. Fabulous setting, deck with views, seals, eagles, tides. Read 3 books in 6 days! Fully equipped cottage/kitchen. No wifi but that's fine too. Loads of dvds to watch on a nice big screen…

Can’t say enough about Seeley’s cove, Brought a tear to our eyes upon arrival and departure! Has EVERYTHING you need. From beach towels, toys and dinnerware. So beautifully decorated, To match the setting perfectly. We brought our paddle boards and got to see the seal's almost every evening. Private, perfect and peaceful. Can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay here! It is a great location with nice views of the Bay of Fundy. The cottage was very comfortable for the two of us and would be comfortable for additional guests. It was easy to communicate with Treena. The kitchen was very well equipped which was important to us since we prepare almost all of our meals while traveling. We would stay here again.

A beautiful old house with so much charm. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Home was very cosy and the perfect place to hold a family event. The wrap around porch with lighting was the perfect place to watch the sun go down. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you Stephanie for all the extras.

Well what can I say that the pictures of this idyllic seaside getaway don't already scream at you? Dan...*ahem* CAPTAIN Dan's Sunset Suite is THE place that you want to be when you visit Saint Andrews. I'm unconvinced that there is a better view to be had from anywhere else than the balcony that gives a panoramic vista of the harbour front. The space itself is open, airy, spacious and absolutely gorgeous. It's located in the heart of the town, and convenient to anywhere you might want to go. Dan is a kind, warm and considerate host who went above and beyond to not only make sure we were settled...but that we were spoiled -offering room service and bringing up cocktails and food from the restaurant downstairs (which might I add...delicious. Chef's kiss). The only regret you'll have is when you first walk in and instantly wish that you were staying for a month and not a weekend.

I’m not one for taking a lot of time to write a review, but this place is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, private, and the attention to details is amazing. More than we ever expected, this place is amazing!

Had a great time! Place was perfect for a group of us to relax and is a decent price if you have a large group.
