“Home Away From Home” in Trenton

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. Whether you want a place to relax, in town for work, hunting or at the music festival this place is perfectly located and easy to get to. There is a basketball hoop outside for the kids (and adults) to enjoy and a back deck to grill from. If you like to cook you can fix your favorite family dish in the farmhouse style kitchen. We are located 1 1/2 hours away from Kansas City and 2 hours away from Des Moines.

Peaceful lake cottage on 5 acres of lakefront property. Parking on premises. Walking distance to the Black Silo Winery. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect place to get away and relax. Includes Fiber Internet. Private owned lake for your viewing pleasure only. There is no water access included for guests. Yard and gazebo with table and chairs available to use. Sanitized and cleaned with covid precautions in mind. We do have a twin bed we can add to the lake cottage if requested.

Cute and convenient 2 bed 2 bath

Newly remodeled interior (we are still working on the outside!!) two blocks from Walmart and two blocks from Washington Street. Good parking on and off street. Wonderful open floor plan to host a family or just a comfortable place to stay. We are going to be as pet friendly as we can but please let us know if you are bringing pets (type, sizes and number) before booking. We have carpet in the front room and bedrooms. THANKS!

I LIVE ON A GRAVEL ROAD! Sometimes you just need to get off the beaten path to straighten out your soul. I live off the grid, but do have fiber optic internet now. Located 10 minutes from Jamesport, 15 minutes from Trenton, 10 minutes from Poosey State Forest. Excellent for mountain biking, hiking,long walks or just sit and watch a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I live on the premises but will respect your privacy.

Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay and found the home convenient. This was my 7th trip to the area and by far the most relaxing. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. I especially had a great night's sleep and found the master bed comfortable. The neighborhood was super quiet and we felt safe taking walks outside. We did really enjoy the recommended Mexican restaurant in town as well. We visit nearby family every year and we'd stay here again if it's available.

Cozy cabin with everything you need. The grandkids loved it!!!! Fishing swimming and kayaking in your own private lake house. The see thru window in the floor so the kids could see the fish was definitely their favorite. Very clean and accommodating and was better than my expectations. Definitely will come back again.

This was a weekend getaway for my husband and I. Lori was so gracious and kind. The camper was well appointed and super clean. So many extra details including locally made cinnamon rolls upon check in. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. She provided a fire pit and wood for a lovely fire. It was so enjoyable sitting by the fire watching and listening to nature. Occasionally, we would see an Amish buggy travel down the road. I had a blissful soak in the hot tub as well. The camper is close to shops and restaurants in town. By the time I left, I felt like I had been reset and ready to take on the normal routine of life. I look forward to a return visit.
