The property was exactly as pictured and was great for my family & I. It was conveniently located near our event, shopping, & restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania area of Virginia. I'd stay here again.

House was very clean and had everything for a pleasant stay

Aquia Creek Lodge was beautiful and peaceful. Our host (Hunter) was very communicative and the home matched its description. My family stayed at Aquia Creek Lodge while we laid my father to rest at Quantico National Cemetery and the home provided a perfect place to gather with family. The setting was gorgeous and peaceful, the house was tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely recommend this home for rental.

My Family and I felt right at home. Susan was an amazing host. She was easily accessible during our stay. She was also very accommodating and responsive when needed. I must say that the pictures don't do justice. Her home has very beautiful decor, vibrant, and bold colors. The backyard is tranquil and beautifully decorated. The amount of amenities that she offers is unmatched. We were able to find everything that we needed. We would definitely stay at her place again. We are already making plans for our next visit.

Great place, great location. I grew up next to train tracks, so the "noise" jostled some great memories. The space could use some minor upgrades, but great value nevertheless. Plenty of hot water and the bed was excellent. Given the organized and smooth welcome, I was a little surprised that I received no response to my texts (making a minor request) after check-in.

A wonderful home that is clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the showers were amazing. The host is very helpful, and responsive. If you need a good place with exceptional service, this is the place. You won’t be disappointed.

The house was as advertised. Very clean and spacious. Evetyone was very comfortable staying at the house. The only item for improvement was to have the lawn mowed.

My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described — even better in person. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Most of all, our host was incredibly generous and kind, going above and beyond to accommodate us. It was a true blessing to be welcomed with such warmth and sincerity. I was very pleased with this property. The apartment was really nice, clean, and comfortable. Crystal city is a great area with many restaurants within walking distance. The metro was a short walk away, which made everything so convenient. This place met all of my expectations and I highly recommend it!

Lenah's place was wonderful! We were in Bealeton for a friend's wedding, and it was so close to everything we needed (including Moo Thru) but still in a rural setting. The house was spotless and had all of the amenities we could want. Lenah was even so sweet to loan me her iron so I could iron the dress I took for the wedding. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

My family was looking for a local weekend getaway, and this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. Krystal was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had to do an early check-in due to work call and Krystal made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was quick to answer any questions we had. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. It was super clean and well-maintained, and we spent most of our weekend swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. We had such a great time and made memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Lucas’s place over Memorial Day weekend! The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and included convenient amenities like a washer/dryer and working appliances. Having a dedicated parking space was a huge plus, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and shops. Lucas was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process easy. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet place with lots of trees near a couple small lakes with nice neighborhood amenities. Plenty of towels and toiletries and other necessities.

I wish that I could truly articulate just how amazing this estate, surrounding property and the owners are. The pictures don't begin to do it justice. Pulling up to the estate, you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The grounds out front are so lush and beautiful, it looks like a movie set. Walking into the home took our breath away. It is stunning! My husband and teenage sons couldn't believe their eyes. When you walk outside to the backyard area, it's somehow even more breathtaking. The pool, docks, hot tub, firepit area and grill are incredible. My husband and I work very hard to take our sons on nice vacations, and this was by far our favorite place where we've ever stayed. Beautiful accommodations aside, you won't find better people to deal with than John and Christine. I had a lot of questions, and they were always so patient and responded within minutes. I really can't say enough good things about this incredible property and John and Christine. It's paradise!

A beautiful, healing nature retreat with a supportive host. Camping on Darlene's land was an awesome experience. I loved exploring the creek and all the cool rocks, shells, nests, and animal tracks. You can follow it all the way down to the river and find lots of great little camping spots and other hidden gems along the way. This nature medicine combined with being able to relax in the sauna made it a wonderful few days of self care and healing. Darlene also offered an intro session in pathwork that really resonated with me as well as took me to tour a nearby regenerative farm. It was great and I will definitely be back!

This place is a true gem! Monique is the perfect hostess toward the adults and our two children. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and the children were entertained. Her animals are all well-cared for and they were so good with our children. The beds were both (primary bedroom and the pull out couch) were both so comfortable! The bed in the primary bedroom was well-padded, which made it sit high, but that was totally fine for us. We will be back to spend time with Farmer Monique and her animals!

Beautiful, finished basement. Felt like home and highly recommend for families!

Overall a great experience, a little pricey for the night.

This trip was t spend time with family that lives in the area for Christmas. We are a family of 5 and we it very comfortably in the house. Everyone had their own space and we had ample space to hang out, cook and relax. The home was clean, well organized and uncluttered. It felt homey and comfortable. Honestly it had everything we needed and even provided a couple of extras like snacks. I felt the host was very communicative and proactive. Check in instructions were provided prior to scheduled check in, check out instructions were provided with check in and she responded to any and all questions very quickly. The home was quiet and although we had neighbors and were in a wonderful community, we never really heard the neighbors or anyone for that matter. Groceries, restaurants and activities were well within reach - a quick drive in either direction. We spent most of our time with our family and resting up at the house in between. Beds were very comfortable. We will be back. Thank you!

I will chose this place at any day. my expectations were met.

Key’Shawn was very responsive and flexible for our family. Our family has special needs children and we had something come up. He worked with us in our transition staying at his wonderful place and then leaving for a family emergency. Highly recommend. He is a kind and very understanding. We need more humans like him.
