County Road 569 is 30m from the apartment, but you notice little to traffic. 20m below the road Bolstadstraumen runs in tune with the tide. Here, there may also be the opportunity to fish with a pole part of the year. Directly from the residence you will find a lot of hiking opportunities, both along the road and to the mountains. For the cultural enthusiast, Straume Landscape Museum is included, including the Stone Age residence Skipshelleren.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet på Os. Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is wonderful to sit to take in the surroundings and feel the calm. There are also great hiking trails close by.
