I had a very pleasant stay in this bright and fresh studio apartment. Lovely bed and great shower. The courtyard is charming. Many extras have been thoughtfully provided in the well-equipped kitchen. The heating provided welcome comfort during the cold days.

Great place. Next to a very busy road as described, so expect some noise from cars driving by. Hygiene was decent, could've been better for the bathroom but I checked in 3 hours before check-in time, so I suppose there wasn't enough time to adequately prepare the place for me. But Nelda is such an awesome communicator and her son was also very helpful.

Gerhard's guest house is a great place to stay in Stellenbosch and he had excellent recommendations for bars and restaurants. The garden and pool were lovely to enjoy when we had nice weather. Easy to get to and from using Ubers. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! It’s tastefully decorated, thoughtfully equipped, and had so many extra amenities that made our visit really comfortable. The host and her family were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel at home and gave us great local tips. We especially appreciated the extra touches to accommodate our son and baby. It made traveling with little ones so much easier. The location is convenient yet peaceful, on a quiet street with a lovely garden. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place to stay.

Lisa’s place was absolutely perfect! It was a close drive to town, but located on a beautiful winery that serves breakfast and lunch throughout the day. Lisa’s check-in instructions were thorough and clear. The place was clean, there were snacks and drinks available in the unit for purchase. We felt very safe the entire time. Thank you again Lisa for such a wonderful stay!! We would definitely return :)

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in an ideal location. The secure parking in the centre of Stellenbosch is a real plus. We went out to Stellenbosch to enjoy an evening out with our student daughter, and spend Fathers’ Day with her too. This was the perfect and comfy spot from which to do so!

An absolute gem with the best equipped self catering unit in a long time. Fabulous view, host and best braai outside.

Renata was super helpful and went the extra mile to help us with our travel plans appreciate the efforts and the room was beautiful.

Wonderful stay, which suited our purposes, as we were visiting the university for the week. Everything was within walking distance - enjoyed the feel of Stellenbosch and just loved the beauty of the autumn coloured leaves, the old buildings and the bustle of student life. Kitchen has everything you need. Leigh was extremely responsive and helpful. We hope to visit again soon - highly recommended airbnb.

We were warmly welcomed by Simone and we immediately felt at home. The space had a luxurious feel and we truly enjoyed the tranquility the house and area. Before check in, the hosts asked if they could heat the hottub for us to have it ready upon arrival, how nice! The area was peaceful and we could walk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive and even assisted us when we had car trouble, truly nice people. Will visit again!

The stay at the villa was very wonderful and the owner of the villa, Catherine, was very kind and helpful. The villa is private and has everything you need.

We had a lovely stay at this spacious beachfront apartment. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with beautiful views. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Colin was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The security staff were also incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. A couple of things to note: the Wi-Fi is quite slow, times out during bad weather and tends to be throttled between 7pm and 11pm, which made streaming or working online difficult in the evenings. One bedroom's light switch wasn’t working and wasn’t fixed during our stay, even after reporting it. Despite these small issues, we really enjoyed our time here and would still highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing beachside getaway.

the space was exactly as described. Lola was extremely responsive. we thoroughly enjoyed the cheese and wine tasting. very close to numerous vineyards. highly recommended

What a beautiful apartment with amazing views 🤩. The sunrise over the mountain was so spectacular. I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely apartment. Picasso always there to assist with anything. What a lovely host. Will definitely come back.

On arrival, our wonderful fresh sourdough awaited, a welcome touch we both loved. The cottage was spotless and the kitchen extremely well-appointed, AND there was filter coffee and milk – most welcoming!! We ordered Ubers from the cottage without any issue, as we knew parking in town during the festival was a bit of a schlep. We did not get to see the dam or test the hot tub as we were too busy with the festival. The WiFi password had changed, and a new one was provided swiftly, and comms with the farm manager were good. The only niggle we had was noise from the house next door around midnight and again at 6 am that woke us up and we couldn't nod off again. One suggestion, especially for summer light, would be to swap the blackout curtain in the living room to the bedroom. The light did not bother us but in summer it might filter through the curtains. We will definitely stay at Royal Gala Cottage again!

Val de Vie is a great place to stay and is very convenient for the Winelands area. This apartment is nicely presented and Barbara was really helpful.

The stay was perfect. You can't have a better view and the check-in and checkout process worked perfectly. Will come again any time! Thanks
