We stayed in outer space and had such a lovely peaceful time here! All instructions were very clear and there are many signs onsite which helped us to know where things were. Just one thing to note was that you don't get a key for your hut, so you do need to drop your valuables back in the car if you're concerned, although the location does feel very safe and private. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

A fantastic cabin in the middle of a picturesque area. Easy to drive to and packed with lots of places to go. Perfect for a place to stay whilst roaming around or for a cosy cabin weekend playing board games with friends whilst drinking whiskey!

The hut was lovely and cosy situated within beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the kitchen and shower areas were very clean and organised. The log burner was a treat :) I read some negative reviews regarding the track to get to the main accommodation area, this track was not as bad as people made out, drive carefully under 10mph (recommended when you enter the track) and you will be fine! The hut is perfect for those who want the “off grid” experience, the hut is shabby in the best way !!

My partner and I had a lovely time staying in the wee oak tree pod. It was very relaxing weekend and we look forward to our next trip.

Our hostess communicated perfectly. The chalet was exactly how it appeared online. It’s was a beautiful location.

By far the best place I have stayed in Scotland for the price range. We rented pod 1 for the dog.Was securely fenced off to let our dog roam in the small garden area.Came with dog bowls and a squeaky toy! The pod was very well equipped tea,coffee,towels all kitchen utensils ect.Bed was very comfortable.Nothing in the pod looked worn or tiered. The shower had plenty of water pressure. Own parking space just at the back of the pods too which was excellent. View of Ben Ledi was amazing too. Only wished we had stayed another night. Would definitely recommend. Was well worth the money we payed.

The pod stay with Natalie and Jamie was utterly superb. The pod was private and peaceful, in wonderful walkable surrounds, incredible scenery and we loved watching the sunset from the deer hide 🦌 and spotting birds with the binoculars. The pod was so well appointed and thoughtfully designed. Great barbecue and the fire pit was a treat. The bed was so comfy! Natalie was always responsive and flexible with us when we delayed our check in time. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻

lovely relaxing time, 😌 the barn is very comfortable. don't drive so bit of a nightmare to get to but that's not the hosts fault. would be nice if a bus was available locally.

The pods were wonderful! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and there’s loads of hiking spots around. The BBQ and the fire pit were lovely as well and easy to operate. The pods themselves were super clean and cozy with extra blankets for comfort. The host was also lovely and responsive, with lots of advice on local restaurants and hidden gems. Definitely recommend a visit!

Such an amazing stay with beautiful surroundings. Host was responsive and so helpful when my phone map was not so helpful lol. The pod was stunning with everything you needed and the hot tub is an amazing final touch. Thanks so much! Will 100% be back again

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine schöne Zeit in Killin. Die Unterkunft war sauber, der Empfang sehr freundlich und alles was wir brauchten vorhanden. Für das erste Frühstück war gesorgt und eine Flasche Prosecco stand im Kühlschrank; das war sehr aufmerksam. Im Ort ist ein gutsortierter Coop und es gibt einige Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Der Lachs vom Smokehouse ist großartig und die schottischen Tapas im Falls of Dochart Inn waren sehr gut und reichlich. Im Killin Hotel, dem eine Renovierung gut täte, haben wir richtig gut gegessen, sehr freundliches Personal und eine große Whisky-Karte. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt. Danke Frances!

First timers in Scotland. Fiona’s Bothy was so quintessentially Scottish and so cozy. It evoked the private remote stone sanctuary we have dreamed of. A patterns of rain on the roof our first night led to beautiful deep sleep for both. There’s a fine farm stand down the A82 so we cooked delicious breakfast before climbing Conic Hill in Balhama - it rained a wee bit at the top - so our visit was perfect! Thank you Fiona. Your hospitality is the best and you’ve given us fine memories for our 35th anniversary.

We had the most amazing stay here, it’s in such a peaceful area with amazing views. The pods are so cosy and homely. Doneil was a fantastic host and added such special touches to the pod for my partner and little boys birthday. We even got to feed their sheep in the morning, which was such a fun experience for our little boy. He’s already wanting to go back. Thank you for such a fantastic stay 😄

We stayed at the accommodation for two nights with our two children. It’s an absolutely lovely little cabin. It looks even better in real life than the pictures, sure it’s basic but it has everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower was lovely and hot and the compost toilet worked perfectly. The log burner heated the room easily and we only needed it for a short time. The beds and sofa bed were lovely and comfy and we had more than enough battery lights to last the night. The cabin isn’t actually on Loch Long but it’s only a short walk down a very quiet road and there’s a rocky beach where you could paddle, swim, paddleboard from. If you want to eat out we had a fab tapas meal in Helensburgh. Enjoy!

Really enjoyed the peacefulness beside the river and relaxing in the hot tub. Had a great sleep, ideal base for mountains and hills nearby.

One of my fav stays of our Scotland trip. Such a cosy place, haven't slept this good in a while. Very nice to have the sound of the river. Seeing the water run under the hut through the windows is a very special detail. Loved the deck to make a fire. Amazing views, and even more so when you walk up the hill a bit. Warm welcome and helpful tips for what to explore nearby. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The hut is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Had a wonderful stay at the Bothy! Had a fun adventure driving up to it. Really sets that remote feeling. Surroundings are sunning and the bothy has all the basics you need.

We booked this as our last location while visiting Scotland and I’m glad we did! It was such a peaceful way to enjoy our trip and not coming home feeling like we needed a vacation from our vacation. All the amenities were lovely! We used the tub numerous times, I meditated with the fire going, the fairy lights were magical. Overall, wonderful experience and I would definitely book again!

Een geweldig verblijf gehad. De woning is erg privé, midden in de prachtige natuur. Het is erg de moeite om de heuvels op te lopen om de prachtige omgeving in je op te nemen. We zijn hier op het einde van onze rondreis door Schotland, helemaal tot rust gekomen. Aan alles is gedacht en dit draagt bij aan een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf. Er is een duidelijke instructie hoe het huis werkt en meer dan genoeg materialen worden beschikbaar gesteld. Erg gul. Daarnaast raden wij zeker aan om de zelfgemaakte maaltijden te proberen die te koop zijn op de boerderij. Deze waren heerlijk! Zeker een aanrader, we komen graag nog eens terug!

We had a two night stay in the Shepherds hut and it was lovely. Very clean and very clean showing facilities. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to Stirling.
