Holiday rentals with lake access in Stockbridge

We had the BEST TIME at this fantastic Lakeside house in Valatie!  The house itself has 3 good bedrooms – 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a nice bathroom and tub.  The downstairs has the other cute bedroom, another full bathroom,  a good sized kitchen open to a great and large living and dining area. The VIEW from the main room is stunning and was our ‘TV’ for the week.  The lake is just gorgeous!  It has a little dock with kayaks and plenty of nice seating and lounge chairs.  It’s great to have a full grass lawn !  The pups loved the house and the yard and the lake!  The house was super clean and roomy but cozy in it’s feel.  So many great little towns nearby – it was just the perfect house to get away from the city!  The community was chill, even tho it was Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to Michael who was super responsive (not that we needed anything!) but if we had a question. Etc.  Thank you Michael ! We hope to be back for another visit !!!  

We went in February. Even with snow no problem to drive to the house. It is perfectly located. Remote but still close enough to everything. It is close to nice hikes. We would love to come back in the Summer or so as it has its own lake access. Kitchen is perfectly equipped if you like to cook. I always like if you have a separate dinning table - to eat, work, talk. All very clean with personal touches. We can just recommend the place highly. And Jaclyn was a great host - she gave us some flexibility with checkout but also was vey responsive. Thanks a lot!

We stayed at Caroline and Nathaniel’s beautiful home over the winter and celebrated NYE’s. Their house is beautiful and perched on top of the hills overlooking a lake. The view is absolutely stunning in the mornings. The house was well maintained and clean. The hosts were very active in communicating with us where we needed anything or if we needed to be aware of any situations regarding the house. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and comfortable lake house. The setting was serene—perfect for a relaxing getaway—and the home itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions via text, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Had a beautiful, relaxing stay with friends at George's place right on the lake. Loved sitting on the deck watching trout swim in the stream and deer passing by. The house is in a perfect location, short drive to both downtown Lenox and Lee. In addition, the house is right down the street from High Lawn farm which makes delicious ice cream and cheese. Can't wait to visit again!

This is a very special home in a very special location. Welcoming open concept first floor with big windows and high ceilings. Two spacious, comfortable seating areas and a lovely dining area. we cooked four meals and enjoyed the kitchen. Two good bathrooms accommodate the multiple sleeping areas. Note that the upstairs gets warmer than the downstairs, but very snug. We were here for Christmas day and it could not have been nicer.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and everything I needed was close by. What really made this stay stand out was the host. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire visit. From helpful local tips to making sure I had everything I needed, they went above and beyond. I use AirBnB 3-4 times per year since many years. Frankly this is the most welcoming, best appointed, better layout place I've been. There is absolutely nothing missing here, in the kitchen or bathrooms or at overall comfort. There are multiple living areas which means that if you go with 4-6 people everyone can find privacy if needed. Great place, we'll definitely be back.

The location and space were great! I worked remotely during most of my stay and was very comfortable with my set up. The dining table was a perfect desk, with good lighting and wifi! Slept well due to it being so quiet at night. A positive experience overall.

We spent a peaceful five days relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of this cabin. Steven graciously accepted our last minute reservation and also our request to extend our stay since we were having such a lovely time. No one was staying in the main house while we were there so we had the grounds to ourselves. The cabin itself is spotless and minimalist, with everything you need to cook in the modern kitchen or grill outside. We stayed with our pup and enjoyed walking him five minutes down the road to explore the town park (we had it to ourselves in mid-May but imagine it’s much busier during the summer). WiFi is super fast and we were able to work remotely without issue.

We loved the studio and felt right at home It was a perfect place to stay while exploring the Berkshires, close to both outdoor activities and the offerings of the town. We especially appreciated the beautiful view from the studio which enhanced rest and relaxation. Jill and Steve were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about this find near Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires! Stayed for three nights while skiing two days over presidents weekend. Hosts were very thoughtful and flexible. Left cookies and s’mores kit which were a nice touch. During snowstorm steps to the unit and walking areas were kept shoveled and salted. For us and our two teenagers this offered the perfect alternative to pricey on mountain lodging and was only about a 13 minute drive. There was even a bonus game room which could probably serve as a small additional bedroom if someone had the need, it certainly has room for a twin air mattress. Our two kids shared the queen bed with minimal fighting, but that would’ve been our back up plan😂. Anyway, they were super responsive, check in and check out was easy and will certainly look to stay again if we get up there to ski again this year !

A wonderful spot if you are traveling with a pup and looking for a convenient spot to explore Columbia county. I travel upstate a lot and this Airbnb is one of the nicer ones I have visited. The space was absolutely spotless!! Great dining space, and all the kitchen basics. The star of the show is definitely the fenced in yard. My dog was a huge fan!! The tub in the bathroom is also a nice amenity. Only things to consider, Phimont is a still a town in transition. Not somewhere I enjoy spending time. But there are tons of things nearby. Also, you do hear some noise from neighbors. Nothing that diminished our stay. I really appreciated how proactive and responsive Michelle and Jacopo were. Overall I would definitely recommend!

The place was beautifully decorated and everything from the plants to the antiques was wonderful to see. This is the perfect place for any stay and they only ask that you respect the possessions. John was very responsive in helping us for a late check in.

We had a lovely relaxing time. The place was in a quiet, beautiful spot. Denise’s instructions were helpful and she was very welcoming. The place was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. We’d happily stay there again.

This place was an excellent location for basing our trip to the Berkshires. We liked looking out over the lake, and walking around the community.

Such a nice, quiet, cozy cabin. Truly does not feel like a cabin. The inside is modern and very clean. Surprisingly spacious! Layout is great. The back porch was the best part. We stayed during a rainy weekend, but sitting on the porch over looking the lake to the sound of the rain was beyond peaceful. Truly a hidden gem. I would stay here again and again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Perfect spot for a peaceful, relaxing Berkshires weekend and/or visit to Tanglewood. Beautiful location of the cabin among the trees, super convenient to lots of hiking, cute towns to wander with great food, and town beach for swimming. And, couldn't be better situated for catching a show at Tanglewood. Sonia was also helpful, responsive, and friendly about all of the preparation details and made the logistics of the trip simple.

Amazing place. Lisa & Steve's cottage made for an amazing weekend. We had pretty bad weather but it was still a great weekend. The lake is so peaceful and the set up of the cottage is perfect. The cottage has everything you need, as well as everything you didnt know you needed! We'll definitely be back. Ate at The Aviary, The Smokehouse & The Maker (Hudson) - all very different but incredible.

Enjoy your stay at this beautiful home. Looking for a get away from everyone this is the place to stay. House was perfect when we arrived and everything was smooth and simple from start to finish!

Comfortable and clean with beautiful scenery - on clear days, you get a Mountain view across the lake! Highly recommend.

We did a last minute weekend with our 5 and 2 year olds and Catherine’s place was perfect. The bedrooms being upstairs away from the living area meant it was nice and quiet for the kids, they had life jackets in all sizes, and we visited a fun children’s museum 15 mins away. We had a few questions during our stay and Catherine was always quick to respond and super helpful.
