Beachfront holiday rentals in Stockholm Municipality

We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

We spent a lovely week at Johanna‘s Tiny House. The seaside view from the deck in front of the house invited to outdoor meals. The kitchen included all the necessities. A bonus was the bathroom, which is very modern and quite spacious for the size of the home. You should be aware that the sleeping loft is fairly low-ceilinged, so you can‘t sit upright. Taking the ferry to the city was fun and easy but staying on the charming island is a pleasure in itself.

Catharina's place is a gem - as is the host herself! The place is clean and comfortable. Catharina was very accommodating, allowing me to use her kitchen to cook dinner. In addition to being a great conversationlist, she's also an extremely thoughtful host, giving me recommendations as it was my first visit to Stockholm.

I really enjoyed staying with Marcus & his partner. I would definitely recommend their place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stockholm. Their animals are adorable too!

We spent six days at Alberto's place in Stockholm last week, and everything was exactly as Alberto described. We were extremely satisfied with our stay at his home and with Alberto, who was incredibly helpful. The location was fantastic; being within walking distance to the metro made getting around super easy, and being right next to the forest gave us peaceful and enjoyable moments. Our family of 5 spent a wonderful 10 days at Pia's place! It is a beautiful family home with plenty of space for socialising. There is a lovely shaded outdoor area where we had most of our meals as we were very lucky with the weather. It is located in a beautiful quiet residential area, with a lovely swimming lake 5 minutes walk from the house with a sandy beach suitable for small children. It is very easy to reach central Stockholm either by car or public transport - a bus to Slussen takes about 15 mins (usually there is also a tram but there was maintenance work ongoing during our stay). It is also easy to take a boat trip out to the archipelago from a ferry stop which is only 15 minutes drive from the house, avoiding the need to go into central Stockholm or Vaxholm. Pia's lovely parents met us on arrival to show us around the house and explain how things worked, and even provided some food provisions, ice cream for the children and champagne for the adults! Pia was extremely responsive on the couple of occasions we had any questions. All in all a wonderful stay and highly recommended - thank you Pia!

We fell in love with Marie’s home. It is a stunning island and a lovely spot for exploring Stockholm’s archipelago. A really special place. Communication was great. We swam every day. Marie helped us find a boat to hire which was very much useful for a more flexible schedule for visiting my family in Lidingö. We had our dogs with us and we enjoyed walks around the island and other walks in nature. Can’t wait to return next year! 🙏🏼

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

We had an amazing stay at Rika's place in Saltsjobaden. It exceeded all expectations and both us and our kids felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. The house is perfectly set up for a family. Everything is super easy to find and the house has everything and more you could ask for. We also absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to and easy to get around.

A very nice house. We took it very clean and ordered the final cleaning separately, which is highly recommended for the sizes of the house. The contact with Fredrika was exclusively online, always very nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children, but the 5 rooms with sleeping facilities were great. At least the two bigger beds were a little too soft for us, but that's a habit. Complete decor of the house, we didn't lack anything. Outside a nice little pool and a gas grill. It's only a 10-minute walk to the well-attended beach in the village, as well as to the bus stop. From there you can reach the center of Stockholm in 25 minutes. A shopping mall is close by too. We had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

We had such an amazing time. The house was a few minutes walk from the sea and a lovely beach area. There was a lovely walk way along the water that took you into the forest. The house was lovely. So well equipped with everything you would need. Absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back. Maria was such a helpful host, very responsive and helpful which really made our stay even better.

Great villa in a small town with nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. A really wonderful place to relax. And yust ten minutes walk to a station that brings you to the centre of Stockholm. Sometimes there are planes coming over but I was the only one in my family noticing them. The host Simon does everything he can to give you and your family a wonderful stay. My kids loved this place, for them it was the best of Sweden.

If you could give 10 stars, we would. The place is fantastic. Even nicer than in the pictures. Helena and Magnus are wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired. Whether sauna, a hot bath in the Jacuzzi or the best tips for the area, you get everything from them. For us an absolute plus: the cozy construction trailer, a few meters to the lake and - oh - just everything.

The place was even better than the pictures showed. Great price-to-value ratio. Would definitely stay here again, 10/10!

We had the best time at Annika's beautiful cabin! Nestled on the islet of Storholmen it's the perfect place for a tranquil break. The ferry from Ropsten takes about half an hour on the way out to Storholmen sidra. The cabin is idyllic and had absolutely everything we needed. It's well laid out, warm and comfortable and Annika had clearly thought of everything you might possibly need for your stay. The upstairs mezzanine is where the beds are which were really comfortable and cosy and we slept really well. The steps may be a little challenging though for those with limited mobility but were no bother for us. We fell in love with the cabin and the island and enjoyed watching the bats in the evening and looking out over the tranquil waters at night. We went for a morning dip in the sea every day and were so sad to leave it all behind to resume our normal lives. In a peaceful place surrounded by nature, Karin welcomes you in a typically Swedish atmosphere. The accommodation has all the comforts and accessories necessary to make your stay pleasant and if you are lucky, you will even come across a young deer in front of your door while you are only 25 minutes from the heart of Stockholm by public transport.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Nina and Bjorn’s place . Very comfortable and as advertised. About 30 -40 minutes to the centre of Stockholm . Regular local bus and good connections to the Metro . Lovely local beach to walk around . So many things to see in Stockholm and the archipelago. Nina and Bjorn were excellent hosts . We hope to return. Lidingo a nice island.

As a family of four, we had a wonderful time in Madeleine's beautiful cottage! Her husband Michael picked us up by boat and then went shopping for groceries with us, including specialty recommendations; we couldn't have had a better start to the Christmas holidays. The house is exactly as described, as are the amenities. If we had any questions, we could always contact Michael or Madeleine. The view of the water is fantastic and the ferry ride to Stockholm is a highlight for the whole family. In short, we will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place! Marlené and Christofer were very friendly and extremely helpful with clear communication. The cabin is in lovely surroundings with plenty of nature. We were lucky to see the deer in the garden. The bed was very comfortable. Transport links are easy to navigate and within easy walking distance. I will definitely stay here again

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

Highly recommended - really great location, close to both metro and the supermarket and peaceful area for a good night sleep. The apartment has everything you need and really well designed, probably one of the best Airbnb I've stayed in! Emil was a fantastic host - great communication.
